Listening to The New Hanoi Rocks 12 - Shots On The Rocks - CRAZY and good week for music. Got the new Rob/White Zombie comp w/ the DVD yesterday. Pretty good stuff. Also been playing the bejesus out of the Once Upon A Time In Mexico soundtrack. Not to mention the new KMFDM that just came out. Then today the new Hanoi Rock reunion CD came to me. Michael Monroe is calling me from Europe tomorrow. I'm pretty fucking excited. they have ALWAYS been one of my favorite bands. I had all their shit on vinyl imports long before Vince Neil KILLED their drummer. Most people got into them after GnR re-released their stuff on the Uzi Suicide label. Ironically including GnR nearly every LA cockrock hair-band ripped off the Hanoi Rocks look and a little off the sound. Screw the Crue, Hanoi Rocks were tattooed and wasted back when Tommy Lee was still a tickle in his daddies nutsack. Also, I just found out that my friends GODHEAD are playing Oasis 160 on Friday night. What a week, I'm tying to stay in and work and all this cool shit comes my way. Oh, wait a minute that cool shit is part of my work. To make matters more goofed up, Gina Gershon is playing teh House Of Blues the same night as Brigettes Birthday party. I guess Gina will have to wait to meet me till next time.- AZ
