When the alarm went off at 730 AM the commercial that was playing loudly over the speaker was a concert announcement for my favorite band The Doors coming back to Chicago. I wasted no time at all in emailing Grego and searching out the bands manager.
After that I got on the ball contacting my friends in Prong and Chicago's SOiL. Tommy Victor emailed me last month looking for ideas of bands they could tour with. The new Prong CD which comes out next week here in America titled Scorpio Rising is addictive and I play it a lot.
I've known Shaun for several years since he used to come hear me spin at LIARS CLUB. I recently was sent an advance of their forthcoming CD and have been playing it in the car. As much success as the band found last time out and they opened for Zombie and Ozzy for Christmas! I believe this album is even stronger.
Brigette suggested on the way home last night that SOiL and Prong should tour together.
So as far as I know Shaun has forwarded the idea to their management.
Wouldn't it be suiting if Brigette had an idea that went down in heavy metal history!
