Getting spring stuff out of the way and preparing for some fun in the sun camping. Yesterday went to Indiana to but a really cool machete. This baby is heavy and sharp and we also picked up a lighter model for Booty. Also picked up a lot of other camping supplies. Gas is going to be $3 a gallon this summer so it's highly doubtful there will be a X country trip this year, so we're doing a lot of smaller roadtrips.
I've been conversing with a Wisconsin State Professor and he has given me all the information on a trip that begins north of Madison on the WI river and goes to the Mississippi River. It takes several days and camping is on the shore of the river anywhere, so I'm looking forward to that and to hunting the rare and elusive Asian Snakehead Fish that has been spotted in that area.
Got an email from Sean Yseult who should be appearing in the movie It Came From Trafalgar ( www.itcamefromtrafalgar.com ). I'm going to be in it with my friend Brad and we're going to be a pair of Hot Rod Hellbillies. He's got a custom lowriding Riviera that is purple and has orange flames on it ad other accessories custom tailored to his liking. The last time I was in a movie was in 1994 when I plaed a cop in The Mercy Seat which was based on the Nick Cave song.
This film already has Hank Williams 3, Gunner Hanson (Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw) Conrad Brooks (cop from Plan 9 from Outer Space) Linnea Quigley ( B Queen/ and Return Of The Living Dead) Brinke Stevens( B Queen/ and Slumber Party Massacre/ Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama ) Edwin Neil (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Bill Hinzman ( The Cider House Rules).
And if that isn't enough there is going to be a MK DVD coming out this summer with major distribution through Caroline Records. I get to pick out all the bands in it, interview some of them and a lot of sexxxy ViXXXens. Right now it is in pre-production, shooting will be done fast and this month and it will be out soon. Feels good that the people putting this out feel there is a market for it. It completely was not my idea to do it, but the more I think about it the more appealing it is. I have no idea what it will retail for but it will be available at retail outlets worldwide.
