Well what a difference just one day can make. Just 24 hours ago my work with MK Magazine and MK ULTRA was the focus of a feature on AVN.com and avnonline.com, and this morning I was speaking in front of about 800 high School kids at a local high school auditorium.
Things have changed a lot since I was in high school but once I was into my talk I feel like I held the room pretty well. I talked about all of my writing experience including Monster Monthly the zine I made in the sixth grade. And it all led up to my career as owner of my own corporation and publisher of MK and nationally syndicated radio DJ.
The focus of my talk was to encourage the kids to focus on school and to work hard and follow their dreams. Afterwards I had a question answer session with the kids. The questions were very broad. Who is my favorite singer? Who famous do I know? How long did I go to college? How long is my hair? Where did I buy my boots? Am I married? Do I know Marilyn Manson? Have I ever done drugs? Do I get high? How old am I and on and on. Then the kids asked me for autographs and I even signed a few girls arms and shirts. Overall I must admit they were pretty well behaved and seemed pretty impressed from what I had to say. I feel there were actually a few prospects out there as well.
I have the whole fiasco on videotape.
I guess 5PM begins the long holiday weekend. Thanksgiving will be spent with Kev and Sam and salmon, stuffing, wine and beer. It's okay eat fish cause they don't have any feelings. Have a Happy Thanxxxgiving everyone! Time to indulge in gluttony. - AZ
