HEY PAIGE!!! WHERE BE THE PICTURES FROM FLASHBACK WEEKEND???

Okay, now it's time to talk about Saturday and the weekend.

After waking up from a 2 day, how should I describe it?, HST/Bukowski binge, we all grouped up and went to Record Emporium to see Miss Paige Brubeck sing and play guitar to her original music. To set this up, I must first explain that it was very hot out and the store had no A/C. Marco, on, Lee and myself drove up N. Lincoln and arrived at a bar had one drink each and went over to meet Paige and some folks at the store. It was a small but loyal and respectful group.

We must also understand that Jon has a way of making me laugh to tears no matter what the setting. So we're sitting on the floor of they messy retail record outlet and it's ho and we're all sweating and Paige was just amazing. I was most impressed by her vocals, then her lyrics and then her playing ability. Some of her songs were funny but overall they all seemed to be about personal relationships and experiences.

So as we all watched Jon hands me a 45 RPM record by a band called BUTT GRAVY. Now there is nothing harder to contain than suppressed laughter. This has happened to me in almost every setting including church when I was a teenager. And out of respect for Paige I tried my damnedest to contain my laughter, which only made me sweat harder and tear up like Nancy Kerrigan after she was hit by the bat on her knee back in the 90's. Then Marcos caught a glance of it and that was when the ball started rolling.

I'm not sure if Paige caught it and if so she hasn't said anything, but thankfully the set ended soon enough that we could go outside and let the laughter escape like Beavis and Butthead that day that they were forbid to laugh in school.

Sunday was pretty mellow. I went fora long bike ride alone, and Jon bought a pair of tiger stripe bikini underwear and skated up and down Lincoln in broad daylight on a skateboard wearing nothing else but sunglasses and an army helmet. later Zoran and I were hanging out at Kelsey's and Jon skated up and down the strip bring laughter from hoards of onlookers, many who ran into teh street to catch a glance.

Monday morning I decided where I was planning to move and now I'm back MK full freaking time.

So that's it for now. his coming weekend, Friday the 13th of all things, I'm taking a group to Wisconsin to camp and canoe at my all time favorite Camp Sweet Minnihaha. I'm sure it will be one for the books.

Next week is the Chicago Underground Filmm Fest where the long overdue meeting of me and Jim Van Bebber will FINALLY take place.

And later in the month we'll be attending Glamour Con at the Holiday Inn where we went for Flashback Weekend. It's an all star SEXY event and we will be in full MK Mode with JSin, AZ and Jon.

Also, now that I am situated would like to let everyone know that the site will be updated regularly and we should be adding a lot more photos and ViXXXens in the days to come. Life is abut to get a lot more...ummm interesting to say the least.
