Adios Linguini / Glücklicher Geburtstag Dakota

I called Dakota Sunday afternoon to wish her a Happy Birthday and she seemed to have appreciated the gesture, because she called me later to make plans to meet up. I joined her at Kelsey's where she had to decorate for XXXmas and promised to join me at Ranalli's where we could celebrate proper.

I got to my hang out at about 930 and Linguini introduced me to his entire family who had come up from Mexico City to take the guy home. His sister Miriam was incredibly hot and I had a hard time not staring her down. She was tiny, well built and Hispanically beautiful. All beer was $1 and all mixed drinks were $2. And it was getting crowed fast. Tom came over and we chatted and he introduced me to his friend Carlos who came from Brazil, and I met his friends. The had recognized me from the taping of Family Business. Also, Linguini told his mother about it, because he was our waiter that day and will be on the show. I swear that is not going to happen fast enough, being on that show.

The party was fun and I caught up with Sue Ranalli and told her of some if my recent adventures. She always seems interested even if she isn't. However being she asks I guess I should assume she's interested. It was midnight and I had accepted the fact by then that Dakota was not coming, five minutes later I see a lady peering in at me and it's her, and she was loaded. It seems that the staff at Kelsey's had plowed her with shots, but she still made it to see me. That's when a rather subdued party kicked into high gear and became a party. She was salsa dancing and posing for photos with and having a good time as a birthday girl should. I was in a mellow mood and had a hard time keeping up with her, but this night was 4 months in the making and the last time we hung out she was a little weirded out by NEO. She's more of a Harley girl and that's fine by me. I do think that no matter where she went that she would have had a good time that night. And I liked seeing her that way. I always suspected she had a wild side to her I just never really got to see it. Well I sure saw it last evening. Thus another reason she's such a cool chick.

Last call came not a moment too soon, I was beat, in pain from my fall and not feeling any better. My bed was calling and I succumbed.

Happy Birthday you living doll, and farewell my friend Linguini. Hopefully we'll meet across the border.
