Here I am again, getting back into the swing. Chicago has been cold, damn cold, but we somehow get on ya' know. It was pretty warm today around 19 degrees, which is a heat wave compared to yesterday. Among other things I've been finishing the AVN Confession for 205, it's pretty difficult since there's so much to document. We were privileged to a lot this time out. I really got what is commonly referred to as rock star treatment, but that's what commoners call it. It was actually celebrity treatment, much thanks to Carly. But more on that as I complete this "blog".
Since I've been back and attempted to adjust to catching up on sleep, fighting the elements, and the website and other MK work, my hands are full with the Subsonic and I Love Rich projects, the Motley Crue party and the 10 year anniversary issue and tour. I AM so fucking so lucky to work with the likes of Martin Atkins again, now entering the second decade of our professional relationship and my association with his many projects.
On the rock n roll note, when I returned I discovered a lot of personal news. Sinderella's stalker fled, (another story and one that is not any of your business unless you're involved) and Al and Angie (the jourgensens) will NOT be moving back to Chicago. It seems in my absence they were here in the Windy City and tried to reach me to go see the Bulls with, and mistakenly called the residence of my EX and were not able to reach me via email. They were here during the storm, the foot of snow which I somehow escaped, and it more or less freaked them out. So they're staying in Texas and she and al picked up a 1949 Chevy and his "new" Viper convertible. I can just imagine that guy cruisin' the desert roads with his tattoos sportin' and hair flowin' in the wind. I was bummed but at the same time have a palce to stay when I go to Texas to see Kevin and go canoeing.
Friday night I go paid to do a survey on Alcoholic beverages and Saturday Ang and I had a small get together with friends and we ate lots of sushi, shrimp and drank much sangria. She had been in LA and I was cat-sitting for her, so this was a good way to get together and have our friends in at the same time. It ended up being a lot of fun. A LOT OF FUN. Marc came solo cause his gal Kris is illin' and it was the last I'd get to see of him till he gets back from LA for the NAMM show. He has a great new project ready to roll and I cannot wait to share the site w/ all of you. He's finally had a long overdue awakening.
Yesterday I worked on several things including the Motley party at NEO and getting the AVN shots up thanks to Angie and the hard work and talent, and yes, patience of Karlton. So by now all of you should have seen the images. Other than that, I gots to finish my AVN AEE 2005 confession. See you all on the dark side.
