The Lowdown............

AZGREGOTRANS.jpg

Okay, my mind is fucking B-L-O-W-N! Another night out with Grego and a better time than last Thursday by far. In every way that my visit to TRANSIT's Mardi Gras party fell short, last night was the best time I've ever had at that place.

I was mistaken that the WORM show at the ABBEY was last night and after posting it on here and on myspace, I got several emails letting me know it was actually last Thursday evening, which was when we were at Heavenly Bodies. I phoned my pals and they agreed to go with me to TRANSIT, but they backed out without even calling me to let me know they were going to no show.

I met up with Greg at midnight and parked by his place, which is roughly 3 blocks to TRANSIT, which is beyond convenient. We walked over to the club which was at capacity and they weren't letting anyone who were standing in line for another hour. Bob saw us and escorted us into the club. With ear to ear grins we walked by the scantly clad and shivering line of people waiting to get in. Aaron met us half way through the foyer and escorted us to a VIP area where he found a sofa overlooking the dancefloor and in between two of the raised stages with stripper poles. There way a group of about 6 people on the sofa and Aaron told them to get up and give us the seats and had the tables cleaned off for us. He brought our lovely waitress Erin over who is always happy to see Greg and I. Before we could take in the grand display of exhibitionism, we were brought a bottle of champagne, bucket of ice and a table full of glasses so we could offer anyone we liked to join us for the bubbly. And then as we sat there like surveyors for Playboy or the publication of your choice. (I guess we were representing our own, however, this had nothing to do with rock n roll) But before we could even jump into conversation, Aaron began bringing ladies over to meet us, really amazing looking women, tall women who were also thin. I mean, I don't think one of these babes was under 5'7. In between meeting with, drinking champagne with and trying to converse with the endless parade of scantily clad dames, one very energetic , sexy and aggressive brunette would approach me and sit with me and share champagne with me and continue this trend all night long, and into the early or late morning hours.

Meanwhile Erin and Aaron and some of the other club higher ups continued bringing us drinks, champagne and women. And in the midst of the traffic and free flowing beverages, we would watch the girls bumping and grinding onstage and in front of us, and once in awhile they would bump their booty's into a guys face. I mean, there was much more contact going on here than at Heavenly Bodies. And it was becoming extremely obvious that a majority of these damsels were under the influence of ecstasy ("x" or "e") which made it very interesting as an observer. My brunette friend who had now let her long mane down off of her head and down her back posed the query, "What are you smiling at?". I replied that I found some people very interesting to watch, like the voyeur I can at times be.

By 3 or 4 Am I think we went through 8 or 9 bottles of champagne and numerous other libations. I was introduced to the owner of the club later on and sat with Erin and Aaron off and on. I also was escorted though the crowd and to and from the restroom like I was royalty. Greg even commented he felt like we were P Diddy. An analogy I find hard to swallow, but nonetheless, comprehended the comparison.

So, in retrospect, I'll concur that we'll be going to TRANSIT a little more often and I am working on them to bring the girls from METRO INTERACTIVE to the venue. That would mean Kelly Erickson, Brigette Kerkove, Britney Foster and the rest for a weekend promo visit in Chicago. Now just imagine my cookout that Sunday!

When we had enough, we excused ourselves, traded hugs, kisses and handshakes, and walked back to his place and I crashed out on his sofa.

Last nights trip to TRANSIT exceeded my expectation and I feel sorry for those who chose to bow out and settle for the same old song and dance. But being that hindsight is 20/20, this was certainly a fine example of "the lesser the merrier." Grego and I defiantly enjoyed being showered with star treatment. And we have Aaron and the gang at TRANSIT to thanks for coming through, yet again for us.
