Been hammering away all day long on press kits and other music business relocated hubbub. Then I got some shocking news which led me to email one of my favorite rockers. Then that person asked me to call them tonight. I spent some time on the phone and came off with a smile. All was good with them in Hollywood and I am anxiously awaiting the new material. VERY MUCH ANTICIPATING. And you will get links to it soon. Yep, you will read it and hear it HERE first I assure you.
I am getting settled into the new place. Boxes are everywhere and I'm going between here and there daily. (I'm house-sitting for a friend who is on the west coast following Paul Westerberg. Tonight in Vancouver, tomorrow Seattle and then Portland, and then meeting up with Tommy Chong and some others. Not exactly my crowd but admirable nonetheless.) I'm weathering the cold Chicago winter and excited about summer coming on and BBQ season. I've finally found the perfect setting and it's very private.
Tomorrow I'm meeting with RICH and working on the PR strategy and regional tour. The new album comes out next month and it is amazing. Extremely rocking and the most professional thing they've done. It's something that surprised even me. You'll all love it. And they got a good international distribution deal. The video was shot and should be available to see online very soon.
Mellow weekend on the horizon and next week it's full-throttle rock. Unstacking and unpacking I hope.
