Not much going on really other than March has been freaking cold here in the Windy City. Yesterday I spent 2 hours outside transferring on buses and trains. It was a bitch. It was 25 then and it's 16 today. BRRRRRR. Saw a pretty good Tom Hanks movie last night called "The Terminal". It had me cracking up. The night before I sat at home with 3 cats watching "Ginger Snaps 1 and 2" which were really great and a pleasant surprise.
Over the weekend as I mentioned last we saw Twisting Roses. Looks like we'll be heading out to the burbs to interview their singer/guitarist this weekend. I hope to be the person in the press who breaks this rising star.
Saturday night I met BH at Rosemont and we went to El Sombrero for a couple margaritas. They sucked. Seriously, these things were premixed. It was the laziest margaritas I've had in years and I've made much better at home and when camping. The Cuervo mix was on tap and the Cabo Waboritas (Cabo Wabo being one of the worlds finest) was premixed and I have no idea when. But it came from a plastic container, warm, and from under the bar. Sammy would have had a fit.
We met two of Bobs old friends, from when he was 19 and we went to his friend Pete's restaurant PSISTARIA in Lincolnwood. It is an old Greek restaurant and really good. The portions are rather large and the plates are about $3 - $5 less than in Greektown. Though I can't complain because on my trips to Greektown full price has never been paid. Neither was it at PSISTARIA though. Pete kept sending more food and rounds of drinks.
After that I went to Naperville for a cozy yet cold evening and early morning. No hot tub this time, bummer. Soon though, very soon. When I got back to town off the train at 7:30 Sunday night it was cold and raining.
So nothing terribly or even mildly exciting happening here. It isn't rock n roll all the time, and now that I'm getting settled into the new place I'm enjoying the comforts of home, for the first time in a long time.
I did get an interesting letter through the website yesterday from an underage girl who "claims" to be another victim of Tripp. I'll share it with you but not the source. No matter how you look at it, it doesn't look good. Considering the spelling and grammar, it's either truly and underage gal or from a local wanna be rocker who has the same intellect and level education. "Can you spell GED?"
How did you find MK?: through a friend
Questions/Comments: i just wanted to say that preston nash guy must only knows him as a friend. i wish he knew the Tripp that i\'m sure a few of us underage girls know him as. i speak for myself and the other girls he manipulated- i\'m sure they\'re afraid of coming forward- they dont want their parents to know. the fact is tripp has lied to us, i thought he was only seeing me. thanks to your web site i know now he was seeing all these girls and lying to me. i\'m a minor myself- and i know how he can be_
