St. Patricks Curse

Okay so in order to please Afra above all I will catch you up to date on Saturday.

Saturday night we attended the St Patrick's Day Party at Transit. It was Paul, Afra and myself. and the place was going to be pretty packed so we got there at 930 and were escorted in by Bob and Aaron took us to the back VIP room which filled up rather quickly. Afra really enjoyed taking in all of the eye candy as it was his virgin voyage to Transit and we had fun laughing at all the guys who wore white striped button down shirts untucked. I was told this style is very popular in the gay community so these guys obviously aspire to that fashion sense even though they obviously fancied themselves heterosexual. Afra commented that they looked as if they were fresh off a factory line, which indeed was the illusion. God for fucking bid any of them would go against the grain.

Early into the night a reserved section next to us became occupied. It was a group from Milwaukee which was a guy named Jason who was celebrating his bachelor party with 4 blondes and a brunette. We had fun joking around with the group taking pictures and drinking champagne. We had a good time laughing it up at the expense of certain people (the cookie cutter crews) and the free drinks began to take hold of us all pretty fast. After awhile Afra spilt and Paul and I hung around a bit longer but it was draining. And it had a draining effect on Paul as I saw when he woke up the next afternoon with a splitting headache.

Tuesday night was yet another St Patrick's Day party, this time at Ranalli's. After a long day of sitting over 6 hours in an Emergency waiting room, I was due for a stress reliever. I took Angie in who was having some serious chest pains. After several tests, scans and an X-Ray she had a diagnosis. Paul and I met Greg at 9:30 at the bar and we hung out till 11 and Greg in his ultimate wisdom thought we should head out to Heavenly Whores, I mean Heavenly Bodies. Well I should just state that we did not have as great of a time as we did the last time out there.

Motorhead hits Chicago this weekend. Time will tell how it goes.
