Home Sweat Home

Home again. Ahhh. Last night I made a really nice dinner though late it was one of my finer creations as of late.

I met Kelly by her place and we went to the store with the intentions of getting some booze. I skipped teh Flashback Weekend on the pretence that it was going to belike last year. PACKED balls to ball and breasts to breasts. I'm a bit claustrophobic and being I didn't feel like drinking to cure the ailment, and being that I could not find one single person to accompany me, I bailed.

Thanks again JSIN.

So about 10 PM I made Cajun marinated salmon, asparagus, raw shrimp and tortellini alfredo. It was simply delectable. And after a few vodka and lime aide concoctions it made for a great nights sleep.

So speaking of Flashback lets talk about Friday night.

Friday was a very awkward day. I went to the doctor and got my new phone and then did some MK work and after Kelly slept off the night before we took the CTA out to Rosemont for Flashback Weekend 2005. Once inside the hotel I warned her that a lot of people would know me. As soon as we walked in and I got our passes, I ran into TJ (former MARAZENE singer and founder) 's girlfriend Amy. She was in a rush and after Kelly came out of teh ladies room I pinned on her VIP badge and we were off. Not even 30 seconds into teh front door I met a vendor who I'd known for a few years and then it went on and on. Even George Romero's manager grabbed me aside. That is where I met my childhood crush Adrienne Barbeau and we grabbed a couple photos and talked about Pittsburgh and Tom Savini. Kelly told her I used to have a crush on her an I responded who didn't. Especially in Cannon Ball Run.

After that we went over to Michael Berryman and got a picture and I had him pose with Kelly. He kept commenting that she was beautiful and I responded with I know and the scary man that he portrays was really a big nice guy.

We hobnobbed allot and went back and forth to the bar where the entire staff recalled the antics of last year, and of course I saw my friend and photographer David who I've run into at countless conventions over the past 13 years beginning with eth 25th Anniversary Convention for night Of The Living Dead.

The real fun began when I finally tracked down my bro TJ and we all sat on a blanket outside to watch Evil Dead on teh Drive In Screen. He had a bottle of Jack and we had about 5 Red Bull and Vodkas in us. And it rely got wild. VERY WILD.

It was a hell of a lot of fun and as much fun as I had I was once again missing my best bro JSIN. 2 years in a row a no show. But hey, I guess he's just another Hoosier Metal Head so why should I care. All I know is he missed out again. And I am bummed. I hope he found it worth it. For the record it just wasn't the same without him.

A lady gave the girls some vicodin in the restroom which meant taking the CTA home was not in the cards. So we finished a wild nigh in the bar, the 4 of us along with some guy from Nine Inch nails and the Porn Starlet Taylor Nailer. We said goodbye to the staff, to TJ and Amy as well as Taylor and her guy and got a cab and went to Lakeview. I woke up too early and Kelly slept in. BIG SURPRISE.

And later that night, last night I made dinner. I guess I shouldn't mention we never did make it to Transit. My brothers car broke down 2 X coming from Ohio and Steve Roach got back to me late so I cancelled. Oh well it'll be there awhile.

Off to Naperville tonight for James b day dinner. And As of tomorrow consider me MIA as I train for my new job.

As always I thank all of you who continue to come to MK Online daily or ever. Out rankings at Alexa.com now place us as the 159,010 highest ranked site out of all the millions of sites on the world wide web. Thanks you and even though I don't know you I love a part of you all. Unless of course you're another sneaky snake who cant seem to get over my life and just have to keep up on what I'mm doing. To you, I say one thing. Enjoy the show.
