Message to a mamber of a local Chicago based band

So I was told you asked: Why is AZ not updating the MK site anymore and not contributing to the "scene"?

Maybe this will answer your question:

I work a full time corporate day job. And I can hardly update when I'm putting my mothers ashes in a canyon in Arizona out of state for a just under a week. However, I've always been involved with BIGGER events of a national scale that aren't in a local neighborhood bar.

Hmm and eXXXacty have I been doing??? Ummmm, well over the last 60 days I've been goofing off by:

Camping in Wisconsin for a weekend and a Trike rally
and the next weekend,

A trip to Indianapolis and a old friends wedding

Flashback Weekend 3 days

Glamour Con 2 days

Skinny Puppy Release Party

Danzig/Mortiis concert and aftershow party including riding in the bus with the band

Music Box Masacre (24 hour horror movie marathon)

Phoenix and Sedona 5 days

Roc bar several weekends and Holiday club outings,

and this weekend:

House Of Blues Halloween Party

Pimps and Ho's Ball with the girls I might add

My Ruin in the burbs

and in the next couple weeks:

SuperMecado release party

Alc O Holdiay planning

Bauhaus

Front 242

Does AVN count since it's in Vega$?

All above I must insist I was an intrigual part of in it's happening.

Why am I not contributing to the "scene". Gee I have no clue. I always worked on a more of a national level. I just happen to live in Chicago and happen to host/sponsor an occasional event.

Let me reword the same question to you my friend, what have you done as of late to contribute to the "scene"?

I rest my case.

- Alex (I want to watch a DVD now) Zander

PS: My brother had the following nice things to say about me today on myspace.com thanks TOBAR!

In a bulletin title: "Compliments"

Alex can pick up items with his spit from at least a 6ft. distance.
Alex can go weeks without sleeping.
Alex cooks a reeeally good omelette.
Alex shares ( Alex understands what I mean, the rest of you are clueless)
