Home again. Ahhh. Last night I made a really nice dinner though late it was one of my finer creations as of late.
I met Kelly by her place and we went to the store with the intentions of getting some booze. I skipped teh Flashback Weekend on the pretence that it was going to belike last year. PACKED balls to ball and breasts to breasts. I'm a bit claustrophobic and being I didn't feel like drinking to cure the ailment, and being that I could not find one single person to accompany me, I bailed.
Thanks again JSIN.
So about 10 PM I made Cajun marinated salmon, asparagus, raw shrimp and tortellini alfredo. It was simply delectable. And after a few vodka and lime aide concoctions it made for a great nights sleep.
So speaking of Flashback lets talk about Friday night.
Friday was a very awkward day. I went to the doctor and got my new phone and then did some MK work and after Kelly slept off the night before we took the CTA out to Rosemont for Flashback Weekend 2005. Once inside the hotel I warned her that a lot of people would know me. As soon as we walked in and I got our passes, I ran into TJ (former MARAZENE singer and founder) 's girlfriend Amy. She was in a rush and after Kelly came out of teh ladies room I pinned on her VIP badge and we were off. Not even 30 seconds into teh front door I met a vendor who I'd known for a few years and then it went on and on. Even George Romero's manager grabbed me aside. That is where I met my childhood crush Adrienne Barbeau and we grabbed a couple photos and talked about Pittsburgh and Tom Savini. Kelly told her I used to have a crush on her an I responded who didn't. Especially in Cannon Ball Run.
After that we went over to Michael Berryman and got a picture and I had him pose with Kelly. He kept commenting that she was beautiful and I responded with I know and the scary man that he portrays was really a big nice guy.
We hobnobbed allot and went back and forth to the bar where the entire staff recalled the antics of last year, and of course I saw my friend and photographer David who I've run into at countless conventions over the past 13 years beginning with eth 25th Anniversary Convention for night Of The Living Dead.
The real fun began when I finally tracked down my bro TJ and we all sat on a blanket outside to watch Evil Dead on teh Drive In Screen. He had a bottle of Jack and we had about 5 Red Bull and Vodkas in us. And it rely got wild. VERY WILD.
It was a hell of a lot of fun and as much fun as I had I was once again missing my best bro JSIN. 2 years in a row a no show. But hey, I guess he's just another Hoosier Metal Head so why should I care. All I know is he missed out again. And I am bummed. I hope he found it worth it. For the record it just wasn't the same without him.
A lady gave the girls some vicodin in the restroom which meant taking the CTA home was not in the cards. So we finished a wild nigh in the bar, the 4 of us along with some guy from Nine Inch nails and the Porn Starlet Taylor Nailer. We said goodbye to the staff, to TJ and Amy as well as Taylor and her guy and got a cab and went to Lakeview. I woke up too early and Kelly slept in. BIG SURPRISE.
And later that night, last night I made dinner. I guess I shouldn't mention we never did make it to Transit. My brothers car broke down 2 X coming from Ohio and Steve Roach got back to me late so I cancelled. Oh well it'll be there awhile.
Off to Naperville tonight for James b day dinner. And As of tomorrow consider me MIA as I train for my new job.
As always I thank all of you who continue to come to MK Online daily or ever. Out rankings at Alexa.com now place us as the 159,010 highest ranked site out of all the millions of sites on the world wide web. Thanks you and even though I don't know you I love a part of you all. Unless of course you're another sneaky snake who cant seem to get over my life and just have to keep up on what I'mm doing. To you, I say one thing. Enjoy the show.
Now I have half a minute. It's Saturday afternoon and my life is again going through some really big changes. I went to the doctor this morning and have to go back in two weeks. The stress of recent weeks along with the heat is taking it's toll on my hypertension. I'm glad I went in. Afterward Kelly and I ate breakfast at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Logan Square and on the way back to my place I stopped to get a new cell phone and number. Lord have mercy I have a freaking camera phone now, beware. Later today we're heading out to Flashback Weekend as I previously mentioned. I'm looking forward to being the coolest geek of the lot.
So let me attempt the recap of the last week or so.
Last Friday it was nearing 100 degrees in Chicago. Mid to late 90's with the following "lords day" forecasted for over 100 degrees. So I met my chickie after ward and we went to Oak Street Beach. It was hot and I had packed a couple foot longs from Subway along with some vodka and limeaide. We hit the beach and wasted no time in getting out of the heat and into the water, which was more than refreshing. I was in a great mood because I had set up a job interview for Monday and was wondering what took the people so long to call me. However, as always, all good things come to those who wait. Yeah say that to a person w/ more patience than me! So we enjoyed ourselves and were feeling goofy and as the sun went down behind the Magnificent Mile and we moseyed onto Michigan Ave and went to my ladies place. We didn't have much of a problem falling asleep and the next day I was online preparing for the Wookie Hangover show at a beautiful lil dump called The Mutiny and we were informed a bit late in the day it was my great friend Jennifer's birthday party that night at Roc Bar. Being I like to keep commitments being I found out at the last minute, I planned to go to Mutiny, so Brian picked me up at 845 we shot over, and Kelly met us and we had a good time w/ Sara, Marty and the band. Then after the band neared the end of their set we all three went over to Roc Bar where the party was getting started. We chilled out in our private sofa area, drank Vodka mixes mixed with Jens friends and even Sherrie dropped in and we all kicked out the jams motherfucker! It was nice to see the kitchen open, where D. Cain is now doing the culinary honors. And a good job at that) The place was packed and the music was good and we were all having a great time.
I have no idea how late we were there but it was long enough to time on a good one and then we had a really good night of sleep. In retrospect, "a good time was had by all" (who does that sound like?)
Then came Sunday.
Sunday was hell from the beginning. it was already over 100 before noon. It was sweltering. It was miserable. We wanted to go to the beach but opted not to and to stay in with the cool AC. So we did and we ate some good food and were just lazy. Besides I had an important job interview the next morning so I only left long enough to bus home, get some office clothes, check my damn mails and get back to Kelly's. It was an early night, but I was nervous. I really wanted this job more than any other, that I can at the least recall. In a nutshell, it was pretty hard to sleep.
As Murphy's Law would have it the only thing I did not take with me was an umbrella. And as I got off the CTA Red Line I found myself getting spit and pissed on by the gods. However I persevered. As much as I loathe the rain, I've suffered through worse, much worse. And I made it to the interview which lasted over an hour and felt really good about the process. Especially considering the dozens of resumes I've been sending out all year and the knuckleheads who have interviewed me. I went to Kelly's place of employment with a BIG SMILE on my face. I felt really good, really good about the possibility of being hired by this company. So we went to Cheesecake factory to have a nice quit lunch. Well as good as the food is, a nice experience and quiet is was not. THIS WAS A FUCKING TOURIST TRAP and sheer hell for the man writing this rant. Anyone that knows me knows that crowds and loud noise especially at any eatery is nothing less than hell to me. Like church when a baby cries and another one screams and the next thing you know the place is a near deafening or even better a migraine waiting to happen. Well, other than dogs barking at sirens in the night, I cannot think of a more fitting analogy.
So with that behind me and a full belly I headed back home. Still smiling with the heat and humidity kicking up it's heels. There was nothing else on the plate for 24 hours when Static X would be hitting Chicago.
Tuesday night came and Kelly and I arrived at the House Of Blues around 6 and checked in. Greg Tovar met us in the restaurant downstairs and we ate and had a few cocktails. (see Greg's great concert review in out reviews section) Rodney and SuZn met us and we all went up to teh Foundation Room where after a couple drinks I ran into my old friend Steve Roach who used to manage a few good bands. Steve and I had a lot to catch up on and it was great seeing the guy. We hadn't seen each other in a few years and Kelly seemed to think he was a pretty cool cat and I assured her he was. I was happy to hear that he and Lori, the little ViXXXen who could, were still and item and it was a bummer she chose not to hang out as it would have been great to see her after all of these years. Before long it was an enormous clusterfuck of friends. Freak, Sludge of 94.7 The Zone hung out for a few pix and some of the SoiL boys were in da haus. And we just kept taking pictured and catching up on old times. This was Kelly's very first visit to the Foundation Room so I gave her the grand tour and introduced her to everyone. She was very impressed and I was impressed at how well she got along with everyone.
Back at the bar Steve, Kelly and I continued to converse and suddenly Kelly says, "Hey look, it's your friends." And I turn around not knowing who to expect and see Fashion Bomb. I about died cause I hadn't spoken with these guys in over a year let alone hung out with any of them since Feb of 2004. Rodney looked at me and asked, "Remember when you used to hang out with those guys?" And I just replied, "Jesus man, don't start on me and leave me out of it." So that was just about the end of that, for the time being at least.
Around 9 we went to our box and Static X came out. They were very heavy and the crowd was ecSTATIC and the booth was more crowded than ever it seemed. Kelly and I decided to leave the luxury of the booth for a center spot in the balcony and the band looked really god. Especially without that sicko child molester Tripp in tow. This was the band I met 7 years ago and the line up I liked. It was at this point that fashion Bomb drummer Dreg walked over and wanted a minute to try to make amends. I was pretty confused by this because for over a year I have hear, gossip, that he has really been talking some shit on me. He seemed very sincere and mentioned we should hang out at the Holiday Club sometime. I must admit the whole session left me a little confused but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let the man say his thing. In my line of work it really is hard to know who to trust. People talk behind peoples backs and are nice to there faces, and I have been a victim of slander, and lies, and misrepresentations and outright vicious attempts to destroy everything I conceived and created from the ground up and $250 of my own money. And in the entertainment business it's mostly all about ego. I'm just a guy who has worked for 20 years to build a reputation and a body of work and my own publication 10 years ago and along teh way I've made many friends. I've also made many enemies mostly because when I cut people off who hang around with their hands out all the time without returning a favor, suddenly, I'm the asshole. However, my body of work speaks for itself.
With Dreg, only time will tell. He was man enough above all to bite the bullet.
I do live by the following line, one of my favorite quotes since I was 17. "At times like these when enemies number more than friends, a friend indeed is what I need, not someone who pretends."
After teh show I went backstage to meet up with American Head Charge and Chad in particular. We had met on a cold winter night several years ago and it was time for a reunion. We had a rink and he and his lady came out to hang with all of us in the Foundation Room. And then , and why did it surprise me, Jennifer pops out of nowhere. And being that her and Kelly get along very well and have mutual respect for each other a good time started to turn into a GREAT time.
Afterwards when we were all finally run out of the Foundation Room, we all hugged, kissed and said our goodbyes and my lady and I jumped into a cab and were on Michigan Ave when she got a wild idea. We got out of teh cab and did the "act" in a very public venue where we could have very EASILY been busted. It was crazy but a wild idea that I wasn't even going to pass up. We completed the mission and grabbed another cab for her place. It is not hard to realize why I am so fond of this woman.
And that my friends is the end of the Heatwave and Static X rant.
I got the job and am happy about it very much. Opportunities like this don't come by very often and it's nice to know my talents are recognized.
Last night we went to Flashback Weekend night 1. And I will continue from there later.
Also, please keep in mind and bear with us. I will be in training all next week and won't have PC access till next Saturday. We'll be back updating daily as usual, but I will not be home to jump online. So till then have fun and surf myspace.com
Maybe I can stay up late and update the diary, but I don't know. I have a Doc appointment in the AM tomorrow and then have to pick up a new phone, then go to Flashback Weekend, Fri, Sat and Sunday. Sat night is Transit and after the show on Sunday it's a birthday dinner out in the burbs for James. And then as of Tuesday AZ no longer exists M-F during the day.
So I be busy mofos. Check back, I'll get something up. Here are some pix, enjoy.

KAY DAY Revisited: I don't even know where to begin....
And this is going to take a long time to write I know that. A
This is Wednesday July 20 and it's been 2 days since my brother left after we celebrated Kelly's birthday for 3 days and our long overdue reunion as well. It was just like a short story by HST. And it began on Thursday night, July 14. And today almost a week later my entire body is still sore and it hurts.
It is well documented that the older that Dr. Thompson became the younger his women were, and that certainly seems to be the case in my life story. At midnight July 15 Kelly would be turning 25, 15 years my junior. I still hadn't met her parents though that was going to happen in less that 48 hours. And her brother and I have become very good friends over the last few months. The kid is smart and wild and when not studying microbiology at the State U he's usually off his rocker, especially on summer break. But that's coming later in the story in case you didn't read over a month ago he earned his O and diploma from AZU in one weekend. A record.
Kelly's good friend Sherrie treated her to a manicure and a pedicure (French tips make me hot) at a place where they could drink champagne on Thursday after she left work. Then they had some cocktails at another place around rush Street before calling me to inform me they were done, so I met her at her apartment where she greeted me with a bottle of White Tail Wine. It's actually Yellow Tail butt now we've dubbed it White Tail for personal reasons.
Shortly after 10 we began celebrating her birthday with some wine and good food. And by midnight we were ready to make it official. Now I'm not an easy guy to deal with, and when it comes to my demands I know they are even harder to meet. Let me say one thing on the record and chisel it in stone when it comes to my current girlfriend. No stone is left unturned and it's her job to know my seep number and my pleasure to know hers. We celebrated much to late especially considering she had to work in the AM and my brother was flying in and I had to meet him at the airport. And being that you only turn 25 once, we pushed it. But it's worth it too much because we tend to celebrate in the XXXact same manner. And that's fine by me.
So morning rolled around and as she got ready I decided to head out too. I went home and did some work for a few hours and then took the Blue Line train to O'Hare. Funny it was the Blue Line because we call my brother Blue. Well his flight was on time. And we had some laughs on the way back to my place and stopped at a Mexican place to have some lunch and then dropped off his bags and went to get some Crown Royal, Red Bull and 7-Up.
On the way I taught him about the littering of Cheetos bags all over Chicago. Everywhere for some reason there is an abundance of empty Cheetos bags al over my neighborhood, but not limited to. For instance, Kelly lives in a really nice and somewhat expensive part of Lakeview just north of Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville, and I can spot a Cheetos bag within minutes of exiting an apartment, a taxi, a car, or the CTA. I told Blue that within a block we'd see a Cheetos bag and when I spotted the first, as promised he laughed and wished he had his camera on him, which he left at my place. By the time we got to Jewel he was laughing his ass off and decided he would "attempt" to document the phenomenon of the Cheetos infestation that has both astounded and annoyed me.
Once in Jewel he wanted Crown royal which was locked behind glass because for some reason it is one of the more shoplifted liquors, so big brother Alex screams HEY HEY HEY over and over while waving into the monitor till the attendant comes off of his "break" and allows us to purchase the nectar. On the way home we made a deal. Whoever spotted the next Cheetos bag, the other had to buy the wine for dinner at NAN's later that night. (NAN's has a BYOB policy.) Needless to say I spotted one almost 1/2 a block away, and continued to spot them all the way home.
We wasted no time of getting right into it and watched music DVD's and some other stuff I've been involved in, including "50 First Fucks", and I just had to show the guy CLOWN PORN. Now keep in mind my brother is 33 years old, and on the Deans List at OSU. They don't have a major in porn, but he now owns at last a certificate. In that as well as Squirting 101. That's right, I taught him about Squirting by showing him a how to video. The same video that has changed my life FOREVER,, and a few other peoples too. Thanks Axel !
Sooner than later the time came for us to hit the bricks and we had planned to meet Kelly at Ranalli's where I had to finalize her party and then get Sushi for her birthday dinner. Friday was officially her birthday but the party was Saturday and we wanted something a little more intimate where we could be quiet and she could at least get to know my brother a little bit. Well, BH called and he was at the Cubs game and we decided to all meet at Ranalli's. he and my brother had met 7 years ago when he flew here for the Expo Of the Extreme. And 7 years is a long time and people change a lot. And that includes your writer. Ironically BH being one of my very best friends still hadn't met Kelly yet, and she was running late and he had to go. They missed by minutes.
My brother had joined the Beer Mafia with the name "Robo Wop", I'm "Don Diablo" and Kelly is naturally "Machine Gun Kelly" though it is more fitting for her to be "Squirt Gun Kelly". And our pictures are all on the wall, and her brother is there too, we're all in a line up. How fitting. And on his very first or maybe it was his second yard, his watch or so he said it was his watch tapped the top of the yard of beer and it fell onto the floor thus smashing. Now, as history will one day reveal, in the 5 plus years I've been drinking at Ranalli's I've never once broken a yard or anything else. And I never will. And that just happened to be when Kelly walked in.
So we drank there maybe a little too long and walked up Lincoln to Nan's where after buying 2 bottles of wine had the chef create us a one of a kind Sushi Plate that ended up being in the neighborhood of $85 ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY !! And then came the BIG MISTAKE we went to NEO and she had to work the next morning. So what happens after a long night of playing and drinking with little if no sleep, a long day of work for her, 2 brothers who have only seen each other twice in 7 years deciding to drink all day, we then convene and drink more? We became separated. And the next 2 hours were spent trying to find each other in a city of 8 million people. I found Kelly at home, I walked home and found my brother asleep on the back porch swing. (Something that was about to become a habit for the boy.)
The next morning I was confused and stubborn and started drinking too early. I sat in my underwear watching DEVO videos with Blue and ha some hair of the dog. It must have been a pathetic sight, but I didn't care. We were having fun, and reuniting. Kelly kept calling on the phone but I was not in the mood to talk quite yet. I still was confused as a redneck in the ghetto taking a cab to a gay bar as to what the hell exactly caused us to become separated the night before. I guess it was late, there was too much going on and we all went out at different times and somehow lost each other. Not uncommon when leaving NEO.
So I broke down, attempted to converse and realized that I had about 9 hours to go till her party started at 930 PM and I would meet her parents for the first time. All I could think of is "I'm 15 years older than her, and someone is going to freak." And besides we had more Cheetos to hunt down.
There was no more damage to do at home thus Blue and I decided to get out and start my shopping for Kelly's presents and I got a slow start and decided to "pop in" to her apartment and surprise her. Then we all went and got coffee and my dumbass had a 4 shot cup of espresso and followed it with a 6 shot cup of espresso. 10 SHOTS OF ESPRESSO ! AM I NUTS? And you can bet your ass I was feeling them too, rather quickly. And then we were off through Boystown. I figured my brother would get a kick out of it, and stores like Gaymart etc. But we didn't get far, I decided to stop by and see my friend Suzan at a martini bar and this is where I had the best martini and absolutely best summer drink of my life. A cucumber martini, and then the owner sent us over 2 shots of sambuca before joining us for conversation. I felt like we were there for hours. But it was long enough cause as time flies when you're having fun, it was flying right out the window.
We walked to Ranalli's and got there only minutes before Kelly, Greg and their parents walked in the door. And it was time to meet the parents. We exchanged pleasantries and I met Greg's friend Brandon and it seemed people just kept walking in, and the place was filling up. For a minute or longer it seemed her party was going to out do mine. Which had a total of around 75 folks.
Kelly told me the first thing her mother asked was my age. When my sweet lil girl told them I am 40, the reply was, smiting like, 'I won't worry about it because you'll be over (or done) with him in about a month." Well that's all I had to hear, it was beer time. And as Kelly and I had just celebrated 2 months of being "together" earlier that week, I told her brother to let their mother know, "it's going to be a LONG month."
To be continued....
So my brother and I began filling our bellies with an assortment of food and beer and Grego showed up and I got to finally introduce him to Kelly's brother Greg. Grego was impressed and they had some laughs. Sherrie looked great when she arrived in a very classic white dress, and then my friend Brian came in and I introduced him around or at least tried. Our new friends Jennifer and her hilarious boyfriend Vincent arrived and seemed to take the who shebang pretty well. James came in and after I slapped his ass he sat with Kelly's folks who I still hadn't really conversed with yet. I mean the people just kept coming in by the shitload. Joel my injun brother came late but still came, my neighbors Mike (the Leg) and (Dirty) Diana dropped in just to say Happy Birthday. (Mike stopped drinking) and as tings got louder and crazier I finally gather my balls and sat down to talk with Kelly's parents as the circus around us continued.
When the parents finally split and Greg and I walked them out we began the gift bag giveaways. Now this was something that COULD NOT have been don in front of her rather straight laced family. The bags were full of fun stuff from Uncle Fun and of course music, porn and lots of lube. My brother left to meet someone at another bar which turned out to be a BIG mistake on his part. When Sherrie went back to get the cake I kept our chickie busy out in the hall. When we came in Sherrie and her huge tits hit the wall and the cake fell down only to be saved from hitting the floor by her huge rack and the wall. So we relit the candles and all sang Happy Birthday and continued the festivities now for Special K and I was already on Day 3. At some point in the early hours of the AM I took Greg's head by the hair and slammed his face into the cake and then he threw cake all over me and I slammed his face into the cake again. For a little while he disappeared stumbling around Clark Street drunk and covered in frosting.
It remained loud crazy right up till 2 AM when Kelly, Greg Brandon and I all cabbed to Kelly's where we would lay down to sleep and even make a bed for my brother who had her address and phone # but not the ability to look in his pocket and use it. Turns out he got lost after leaving the other Bar, fell asleep on my porch swing, again, and didn't know what to do upon waking. The boys passed out and I think we were up till 5 AM or around that time cause the sun was coming up right before I was able to fall asleep.
And waking was when the party would continue. I think we were all up around 930 / 10 AM and Holiday Club would open at 11 AM and that was the plan Stan. The laughter began when I threw someting at Cake Boy Greg and he rose up and yelled " WHAT'S YOUR SLEEP NUMBER N*%$#@?" and that's when teh fun began. And that was someting that woudl go all day long and last many changes.
Finally it ws 11 and we were inside Holiday Club where one of our favoutre bartendes Crystal was working, and I suspect, expecting us. And we order 1 pitcher of Bloody marys and 1 pitcher of Mimosa other concotions and some food. Of course I had wings but didn't eat any.
Kelly's phone rang and it was Sherrie, and there was still no sign of my brother. I figured he got lucky. And then Kelly said it, "Sherrie fucked your brother last night." I about shit and then she said no it was Brian though. Now how did THAT happen I don't know, especially since Sherrie is so shy and reserved. Finally they arrived and I hugged Sherrie and her dress snapped over the shoulder, and I have no idea HOW one of her massive boobies didn't fall right onto the table. And I can't believe Brian didn't F those T's!!!!!
it was getting rowdy and very loud when my brother who must have been looking for Kelly's place walked past the window and Kelly ran outside to bring him in. He had slept all night on my back porch swing again, didn't score and was lost in Chicago for a third time now. the first being back in 1999. And his flight was set to leave in a few hours, his bag was inside at my place, and he was hungry wanted to eat and had some drinks. When all was done we packed Greg and Brandon of for the NW burbs and headed out into the heat with my brother along for the ride.
Now it was HOT out. DAMN hot and we got the bus to my place, he left for the airport, and somebody dumped a bucket of water on my bed! And even with the AC and the warm water that was soaking through my mattress it was too fuckign HOT to be at my place so we went back to Kelly's thinking it was over and everything was fine. And we had another bottle of something alcoholic in tow. YUP it was still her birthday, and she was off teh next day, which pretty much meant I was going to be off as well. And from out o teh maddness somebody dumped a bucket of water on her sofa and her bed.
Around 9 the phone rang and it was from the Days Inn. It was Blue, he missed his flight and came back to the Hot Haus where I wasn't so he went to the Mexican place I turned him onto the day he arrived and he checked into a Days Inn not realizing he STILL HAD Kelly's address and phone number. But it was better this way, the sofa was not to be slept on by a guest on the Lords Day of all days. The Holyist of Holy's!
We were up late and I slept till 11 which is rare and it was nice. My brother arrived at about noon and we sat watching TV and then went to El Mariachi for lunch and margaritas, and it was HOT and I was sore, all over. my triceps, my inner thighs my shoulder which still hurts (it's Thursday) and my voice from all of the laughing,. And I wasn't abut to go home to the oven so we stayed in, and rested up for another week in the life.
So Kelly's birthday was a hella-binge unlike any other since my birthday. I suspect she's very happy, and had a lot of fun. Me, it wasn't my birthday but I am extremely happy that I was able to arrange for such a valiant affair. It as great to see my brother, make new friends and to kick off the best month of my life. Yup, if her mother says its only going to be a month, well then it's going to be a dandy.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT SO FUCKING INTENSE AND FUN. WE LOVE YOUZ!
Now I'll share some emails from the days after Kelly's birthday weekend.
FROM BLUE:
...I'll send you the pictures probably Sunday.
I can't wait to come back...I didn't want to leave, I was just learning to relax again.
See you soon!
Tell Kelly Hi
MOVE!...Bump Back!
...and, to tell you the truth...I am a bit interested in this "squirting thing". I'm going to explore some g-spot stimulation techniques online. I'd be interested in seeing the reaction of an unsuspecting girl.
heh
FROM BRIAN:
Hey, what's your sleep number mother fucker!
Holy shit that was funny. I can't stop laughing.
Had a great time at the party. Thanks for having me there. For the record, I slept until 9:00 on Sunday night, and then met my buddy at a bar.
FROM JENNIFER:
AZ! It was great to finally meet you and Kelly. You guys rock!
FROM VINCENT:
Thanks for ass-eatin' advice and the lube, my man! No one duz it bettah or wettah than the AZ!
All for a little taste of heaven.....
MUCH LOVE AND THANX TO OUR GUESTS
On behalf of Kelly and myself we'd like to give our love and thanxxx to all of our myspace friends who came out to her 25th birthday party last Saturday night at Ranalli's. It sure was crazy wasn't it? The food and booze was great but the crowd was what really made it fun.
Thanks to my brother who flew in from Ohio and Kelly's family and co-workers for contributing to the festivities.
HEY BRIAN! What's your sleep number mofo and I can't believe you didn't F those T's!!!!
More details to follow. It was a 3 day long celebration and family reunion. There is too much to divulge at this point. Check back tomorrow.

This is the thing that is keeping the smile on my face. Birthday bash on tap. Get ready!
Well it hasn't been as wild as usual. I'm saving it up for the weekend. It has been damn hot here but it's better than rain. But overall things have been pretty subdued and Kelly is keeping me out of trouble. How, I don't know because she share some of my habits and somehow we've managed not to let it boil over.
Friday was just nuts. I spent it printing hundreds of press releases for Subsonic. 350 pages took over 7 hours. I left around 7 went across town to my gals got some booze and chilled out, eating as usual, Ranalli's delivery. This was the first I ever had their pan pizza and it is to die for believe me. I needed it cause sitting on your ass printing pages is not exactly fun when you have to keep reloading the printer and can't leave for very long between reloads. But they are in color and look great.

Saturday morning I kidnapped Kelly's kitten Hollywood and broght her over to play with Wolfgang and Rammstein. Her cat has taken a liking to Rammstein and likewise. Wolfgang is still trying to figure it out. Not exactly rock n roll fun, but it's fun if you're an animal lover like me. I had planned to go to a carnival but one of my jobs fell through so I sat home and drank wine. Around 10 PM Sara and Marty came over with some beer and we had some laughs at the worlds expense. We have a good time making fun of thangs. Sara is our resident metal writer and Marty her other half is in a fun metal band called Wookie Hangover. Great name ain't it. Then Kelly decided to stop in late after making some rounds at bars with her friend Sherrie. I was surprised but she cabbed over late and we were at the peak of drinking and laughing it up. They seemed to like Kelly and she them and though they've heard a lot about each other this was the first they met.
Sometime in the mid morning hours between 1-3 Linny emailed to say her and jSIN were coming up for Flashback Weekend, and this was good news, cause he had a flight booked last year for the event, a hotel room booked and his 3 day pass reserved all paid for and his job would NOT give him the time off, so he not only missed out on a good time, he lost a lot of non refundable cash. I know Linny from myspace but have never met her in person. jSIN met her online, flew to St Louis to meet her, proposed, she moved in with him and they're getting married next year and I'm the Beast Man. So I'm excited to meet one of my very best friends girlfirend, and rockign w/ jSIN all over again. And Newbomb is dropping in!
Sara and Marty split around 330 AM or so and I got an email from him at 448 AM so I know we were all up till at least then.Luckily we got to sleep in cause she got to go into work later than usual.
But Sunday night was going to be a good one. First of all my brother was thinking of coming to visit and attending my lil' ladies birthday blowout. Second of all Greg was going to come over at 8 PM and third my chickie wanted me to cook up something. So she gets here and we go over to the local grocery store and pick up some burgers, sides and Capt Morgan to mix w/ some Coke. As we're checking out the cell rings and it's Blue, and he confirmed his flight is definitely booked. Now I was getting psyched. As we walked in the direction of my place, and I was talking to my youngest sibling someone toots a car horn, it's Greg so we hop into his car and proceed to spend the evening, eating, drinking, playing music and watching music and porn videos. It was a great time and another night of good laughs.
She can sleep in but I cannot and being she was off Mon and Tues I didn't stir her till after 1230 in the afternoon. She deserves it cause she balances my lifestyle and her careers. Which isn't easy. So she gets a platinum star!
So again, not a hard rocking life as of late but that's all abut to change in a couple days as my bro comes to Chicago for round 2 and we show Kelly how fun a birthday can really be.
I'm outa here. Check in after the weekend, ther will be some GREAT stories to share for sure.

Where to begin? Well Thursday and Friday were very interesting. Thursday I walked 8.64 miles in the 93/95 degree heat and it sucked but it's keeping the weight down. So Friday night I met Kelly after work with a dozen roses, a bottle of Skyy, and a bottle of inspiration. And the night was young and wouldn't get any older. Then came Saturday and I was feeling like hell. Pure hell. I had something great to look forward to but had other things on my brain. The highlights of the day, I got emails from Kelly Erikson, Missy Monroe AND Corina Taylor. 3 of the hottest adult performers I can think of. Now, I wish someone would explain to me why porn stars like me so much. I wish the person on the street liked me as much. Or do I?
Jesse Jane was coming to Transit so Karlton met me at the house and we chatted a bit and took off for Grego's. I had what was left of the Skyy and he had a bottle of Makers and we got an early start. A bit of a mistake but not all bad. Because at least nothing bad happened.
Kelly arrived by cab right on time as I had requested and after some drinks we all walked to Transit and jumped line and Joel met us and we were all escorted to one of several VIP areas. Drinks were free for an hour and after saying hello to Brad and Tim and some others from AVN we decide that I had enough to drink and Kelly and I took off in a cab and ended up back at my place where the alarm went off very early and we got on a bus and went to Holiday Club for brunch. We shared a pitcher of Bloody Mary's and didn't even have to look at the menu. The bartended even knew what we both wanted. Eggs Benedict.
She called her brother who was already on his way and we went to her place and got things together for the game. We got to teh biggest rooftop at Wrigley and I was amazed. Not only was it beautiful and a spectacular view but teh food and booze was included. We were on teh VIP list as was kelly's brother Greg and we got started just before jesse arrived. She posed for some pix and we made some smalltalk and she even signed a DVD to Kelly and I and a copy of MK for her brother. He as thrilled.
I happened to be wearing my Clown Porn shirt and it garnished a lot of attention. One kid named Eric "Clownboy'' Berson who is a Clown enthusiast flipped out and it turned out we had similar tastes in film. So I gave him a card and before I even got home yesterday he had been to this site. Good for him and glad that he's into good wholesome entertainment that's just, "wrong". It was nice to see Jesse and talk to her again, we had a few laughs and I was getting buzzed in the summer heat. I hope the photos turn out because I can only imagine how funny or fucked up they are going to look.
Kelly was amazed at how tiny Jesse is and I have to admit she did look wonderful as always. I made a rather loud referene to Kid rock that a certain memebr of teh enteraoge was not too pleased about and I probably shouldn't have done it. But it got a big wide grinned smile out of Jesse, but another person up there didn't think it was too funny. That's all I'll elaborate on that for now, or ever.
We hung out till the 7th inning and split for Holiday Club where we had another round and then I went to Kelly's and dropped from exhaustion. Then at 820 she ordered 3 buffalo chicken sandwich platters and a large pizza from Ranalli's for delivery. Poor Greg was out cold on the sofa and I was stumbling around in my boxers. Then I back asleep and at 106 AM Kelly and I both woke up and were up till 530 AM or later. Or would that be earlier. In between we had visited with her neighbors who were very cool especially at 3 AM and made a good time out of our sleeplessness.
She took off for work as Greg and I indulged in our sammichs and sat there all afternoon watching the TV. After Smallville we came to my place and watched Reanimater and twilight Zone while eating a bunch of Popeye's chicken, and the neighborhood was insanely loud with fireworks blasting from the backyards, streets and alleys all around. It got to the point where it was beyond annoying and we even considered calling 311. Amazingly it calmed down enough to where with my door closed and the AC on we could get some sleep. And it was the best nights sleep either of us have had in sometime. Though Kelly can sleep through anything. Usually.
So that in a nutshell was the Skindependance Day wrap up/aftermath. I need to thank all of the great people who made it happen and for their hospitality and generosity for having some rock n rollers invade their turf. You're all great and we appreciate you.
But like Jesse said to me over a year ago. Porn stars party like rock stars, and rock stars fuck like porn stars.
