MK Magazine HELP WANTED

MK Seeks Chicago Area Metal Writer

If you are in the Chicago area and are a heavy metal, death metal and black metal fan and think you can do justice to the music by writing reviews of it, we may bring you on board.

As a music reviewer for MK Magazine not only will we give you advance copies and new release of today's darkest metal bands, but it may lead to free tickets and a chance to hang out and if you wish interview the bands.

* To be considered you must be at least 18 years old
* Have some experience reviewing music either in High School or College
* Adhere to deadlines
* Live in or around the Chicagoland area.

As a member of the MK Staff you may never have to buy music ot concert tickets again. We have te ability to provide you with both. Only those who enjoy all kinds of metal music apply.

This is a non-paid position. Compensation is in the form of D's, DVD's and tickets.

INTERNSHIP: Graphic Design / Layout and design

If you want to kill your MTV, continue reading. 9-year-old music publication seeks applicants who want to work for a fast-paced and trend setting rock n' roll magazine. Applicants must have strong copy-editing skills and be willing to help thoroughly edit articles for MK Magazine (56-72 pages). Students will also be asked to help transcribe interviews for the print publication. Strong writing skills will come in handy when asked to write reviews (CD, Film, Books, Concerts). Deadlines enforced. Also, opportunities to conduct interviews with major music/entertainment figures are possible. MK is distributed worldwide in Tower Records, Borders Books & Music, Virgin Megastore and hundreds of other retail outlets; a great source of exposure. www.mk-magazine.com receives over 1 million hits a month.

Graphic Design / Layout and design, and students for writing and editing.

Must have Quark Xpress and Adobe Photoshop proficiency

You must be earning college credits from an accredited school.

You must be at least 18 years old.

We have part time positions available.

To work part time you must be here 3 days a week. A minimum of 15 hours a week.

This is a non-paid internship program.

You must provide us with a letter from your college stating you are receiving college credit.

MK Help Wanted Advertising Sales Rep Part Time

Print magazine and Web Sales Representative:

We are looking for 1 individual with very strong communication sales who knows our product and it's genre and what it all represents. This person may be male or female over 21 years old who has a little spare time and wants to make some spare money. If you can close some leads and generate some more you will be rewarded generously. The pay is based on the $ amount of your total sales. Or may be based on individual sales if hiree prefers.

There is an opportunity for this to lead to a long term position that will pay with every account you create.

Some sales experience and customer service experience required. Phone sales experience is acceptable.
