Guess what? You'll have to wait longer for THE SOPRANOS.

Fans of THE SOPRANOS thought they had to wait long enough to see the final
13 episodes, but according to series creator David Chase, they possibly
might have to wait a little longer. The fifth and reportedly final season of
the hit HBO show was schedule to premiere in the fall, but reports have
indicated that it will be pushed back to 2004 with a possible addition of
more episodes than originally planned.

"I'd planned out an arc for Season 5 that would have ended the show," Chase
said. "But as we're getting into it, we're finding there's a lot more
material. We could cram it into 13 episodes, but I don't know that it's the
right thing to do. So there may be additional episodes." HBO and Chase are
talking about making up to six additional episodes. "I suspect they'll be
okay with that," Chase says.
