KISS guitarist Ace Frehley suffered a concussion from a bad spill in
his
home, an injury that kept him from serving as a counselor at Rock and
Roll
Fantasy Camp, which began this week, according to MTV.com. His doctors
are
taking a "wait and see" approach to whether the axeman will
be able to join
THE WHO's Roger Daltrey and GRAND FUNK RAILROAD's Mark Farner at the
camp
for aspiring rockers.
More information has surfaced regarding the reasons for Ace Frehley's
withdrawal from Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp, the event which brings together
non-professionals with well-known musicians for a few days of training.
According to Launch, the former lead guitarist for KISS fell down the
stairs
at his home outside New York City on Wednesday (June 18) and suffered
a
concussion. Frehley and his wife recently moved into the house, and
he was
carrying some equipment from the music room down to the basement when
he
slipped. A spokesperson said it was simply a household accident - neither
drugs nor alcohol played a role.
