KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has shot down as " not true" a recent Internet rumor that KISS is planning a major tour for the fall of 2002 with the line-up of Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer and that new characters and outfits are being designed for Eric and Tommy-information that had supposedly originated from Gene's personal assistant Spiro Papadatos. "[This is yet] another example and proof positive why I hate the Internet," Gene stated via the group's official web site.
