New York, NY: In terms of their sense of humor and their bleak 'n dreary outlook on life, TYPE O NEGATIVE couldn't get any blacker. But the Brooklyn band continues to walk the darkest of musical paths and has chosen to spend this Fall touring with the Blackest of Black Metal Bands, none other than Cradle Of Filth! That's right! TYPE O NEGATIVE and Cradle Of Filth will co-headline a national tour kicking off November 14 at the Palladium in Worcester, MA. The tongues of heavy metal fans are wagging in anticipation over this supreme metal tour.
TYPE O, fresh off a successful summer run supporting their new album Life Is Killing Me, with Lacuna Coil in tow, joins forces with Cradle Of Filth for the autumn tour season for what is sure to be one of the hottest tickets of the year, given the theatrics of both bands! Portuguese goth band Moonspell will open the dates.
In addition to this nefarious tour, TYPE O will appear as a coheadliner on the main stage of this year's inaugural New Jersey Metal And Hardcore Fest at The Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ on November 15. A full list of confirmed dates with Cradle Of Filth have just been announced.
Life Is Killing Me was released in June, and has sold over 80,000 copies and has reigned atop the Metal Radio charts for weeks on end.
