L.A.-based industrial act Orgy has wrapped its third album and will release
it on Feb. 24 on the band's own D1 Music Label. Dubbed "Punk Static
Paranoia," the set was produced by lead singer Jay Gordon. Orgy was
previously inked to Korn's Warner Bros. imprint Elementree Records.

First single "The Obvious" was shipped to U.S. radio outlets in early
December, and is available for streaming on the band's official Web site
www.orgymusic.com

Orgy's breakthrough was a cover of New Order's "Blue Monday," which was
featured on the band's 1998 debut, "Candyass." Its follow-up, "Vapor
Transmission," was released in 2000 and peaked at No. 16 on The Billboard
200. It has sold about 334,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen
SoundScan.

The nine-track "Punk Static Paranoia" will be supported by a North American
tour, dates for which will be announced at the end of the month, according
to a spokesperson. Orgy intends to build D1 into a fully functioning label
with a roster of young acts.
