I just got off the phone with Michael Monroe of HANOI ROCKS one of my favorite bands of all time. I've had the new album "12 Shots On The Rocks" since November and I am more excited than I can ever recall knowing in a short amount of time I will be seeing this band who have been "reborn" live in person and not on an old video from 1984.
I had every HANOI ROCKS album on vinyl as an import since 1984 prior to their domestic debut "Two Steps From the Move" and finally all of America will be able to see and hear what the real thing is.
The new record is OUT NOW on Liquor and Poker Music. Pick it up and if you cannot find any reissues of the HANOI ROCKS catalogue on CD there is a great CD compilation "Decadent Dangerous Delicious" available at Tower Records or any fine music store.
If you are unfamilar with this band I urge to do undo that. This is the art of real rock n roll in it's truest form.
