JENNA JAMESON TO BE HONORED AT FREE SPEECH COALITION’S “NIGHT OF THE STARS”
Actress Susan Sarandon is Honorary Co-Chair of Event in Universal City
LOS ANGELES – (June 10, 2004) – Adult mega star Jenna Jameson will be honored as a Celebrity Freedom Fighter at the Free Speech Coalition's 17th Annual Night of the Stars event on Saturday, July 24th (at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City).
Actress Susan Sarandon and two California legislators (Assemblyman Paul Koretz and Senator John Vasconcellos), are the Honorary Co-Chairpersons for the event, which will also present an award to Luther "Luke" Campbell, one of the founders of 2 Live Crew, the musical group known for its uncompromising lyrics.
Noting that she is “perhaps the best-known honoree,” Free Speech Coalition organizers said in announcing that she would be honored for her contributions to the adult industry, “Jenna Jameson in scarcely more than a decade has reached the top of the adult acting profession, with mainstream recognition, publicity and endorsements -- and her face on more than one billboard in Times Square.”
