Spider-Man 2 in the Running for FX Oscar / The Peril of Doc Ock Alernate Ending

ComingSoon.net reports that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced that Spider-Man 2 is among the seven films being considered for Achievement in Visual Effects for the 77th Academy Awards.
Only three of the films will be nominated for the Oscar.
Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock Alernate Ending!
Thanks to the team at Spite Your Face Productions, Superhero Hype! is able to give you an early Christmas present - an exclusive first look at an alternate ending for Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock! The original short film, which can still be downloaded here movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/spiderman2.html accompanied the release of Sony's Spider-Man 2 in theaters and the LEGO toys for the sequel.
Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock was written, directed and animated by Tim Drage and Tony Mines, and features a music score from composer Jason Graves.
