VH1 unveils the first "New Year, New You" transformation on New Year's Day with the premiere of "Remaking", a series of specials that is dedicated to improving the careers and lives of artists through various forms of transformation.

MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil is the first artist to "face the music" on VH1's "Remaking: Vince Neil" premiering on Saturday, January 1 at 9PM ET/PT. Throughout the hour-long special Neil will undergo a facelift, work out with a personal trainer and most importantly, kick his drinking habit. Following his physical transformation, Neil will then team up with some of the music industry's top producers to record a new single, "Promise Me", proving that true music legends never die.

Throughout each special, every artist will go through 90 days of hands-on interaction with a specially selected team of experts who will take them through the sometimes comic, emotional, but always intense transformation which could involve anything from therapy to plastic surgery, exercise, style renovation or musical reinvention. Upcoming episodes include Taylor Dayne and Vanilla Ice.

The Remaking of Vince Neil begins at a dingy club, in a strip mall in Minnesota, where Vince is performing solo to a small, aging, but loyal audience. The former frontman from Mötley Crüe has become significantly overweight, has maintained an escalating drinking habit, and is struggling to come up with new music to keep his sound current.

Vince Neil is presented with the opportunity to remake himself in preparation for one ultimate goal: a grand finale concert that could re-launch his career.

Over the next few months, Vince Neil will face his issues, battle his demons and will be tested on every level.

Visiting a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon could wash away years of wear and tear. A personal trainer seeks to correct Vince's bad habits and help him lose those extra pounds. Fabulous stylists direct Vince toward the proper threads and a more contemporary hair-style. Recording a new song with a legendary music producer could prove to be a hit or a flop. A brand-new Vince Neil is within reach, but will Vince accept the challenge?

No matter how much he trips and falls, whether he succeeds or fails, the experiences Vince encounters along the way will build the person he will become. See what happens when a dedicated and driven team of professionals joins forces, in an attempt to re-launch, rejuvenate, re-master and remake Vince Neil.
