Rick Rubin has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records to house American Recordings, according to a story in the N.Y. Post. This brings American back to its former home, following stops at Columbia and Island Def Jam. It also reconnects Rubin with his homie Lyor Cohen, who inked American to IDJ before becoming the U.S. head of WMG.
