New York, NY October 18, 2005—Industrial rock pioneer Al Jourgensen ventures into the record label business with the launch of 13th Planet Records, the new home of Ministry and Revolting Cocks. The imprint/boutique label is a joint venture with Megaforce Records for the U.S. and Canadian markets, distributed through Sony/RED. Missi Callazzo, Vice President of Megaforce, excitely relates, “It’s great to be working with Ministry again. We had platinum success during ‘Psalm 69’ days and Ministry remains an iconic and pioneering
band. There is nobody better than Al Jourgensen releasing terror and greatness as he continues to challenge the status quo.”
With the recent release of Ministry’s 25th anniversary collection Rantology marking the completion of his contractual agreement with Sanctuary Records.

Mr. Jourgensen and Sanctuary amicably parted ways. The Sanctuary catalog of Ministry releases includes Sphinctour, Animositisomina, the critically acclaimed Houses of the Molé and Rantology.
Jourgensen essentially returns to his roots with his latest endeavor.

Al spearheaded the Chicago based Waxtrax! imprint throughout the late 80's and 90’s bringing forth the release of such notable alter-ego ventures as Revolting Cocks, Pailhead, 1000 Homo DJ’s, Acid Horse, PTP, and Lard. Jourgensen explains “Being clean for three years, I decided it was time for me to get back in the saddle and create an independent and autonomous outlet for Ministry and other side projects again. I’m looking forward to developing 13th Planet Records into a successful, prolific, and creatively rewarding artist run label.”

13th Planet Records will unveil its new website www.thirteenthplanet.com on Halloween 2005. The site will host news, music, tour information, and merchandise for all things Ministry, RevoltingCocks and Jourgensen’s side-projects.
13th Planet unleashes its debut release Revolting Cocks: Cocked and Loaded on February 14, 2006.

MINISTRY's new studio album, "Rio Grande Blood", is on track for an April 2006 release via MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet label. Jourgensen recently told MTV.com that he's planning on finish working on the material for "Rio Grande Blood" by Christmas. At least three tracks have been completed at this point: two as-yet-untitled cuts and "The Great Satan", which appears on the just-released "Rantology", a collection of well-known MINISTRY tracks Jourgensen revisited and remixed to commemorate the band's 25th year in the biz.

Jourgensen's also planning on releasing an album in February from his 19-year-old side project, REVOLTING COCKS, called "Cocked and Loaded". Also produced by Ministry founder Jourgensen, the new album will feature Tommy Victor (Prong), Paul Raven (Killing Joke) Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Stevie Banch (Spyder Baby), and Phildo Owen (Skatenigs).

Ministry and Revolting Cocks will also hit the road for the MasterBa Tour 2006. With 60 dates scheduled throughout the U.S. and Canada, tickets are in sale now for May 6th through July 20th and European dates are currently being booked for August and September 2006.
