Zander and Kelly Erikson share a tender moment for K Rawk
Just in today from one of our favorite news sites adultfyi.com regarding Adult Entertainment. In a story related to Defiance Films, www.defiancefilms.com it is rumored that MK's favorite Blonde Kelly Erikson may be poised to direct features. And the article alludes that Kelly is retired. (Sigh)
"From what I gather director Vince Voss is going to shoot camera and Kelly Erickson, a former performer, now in retirement, will direct the movie."
Zander sent an email to Miss Erikson upon reading the scoop and upon official statment you will be able to read the rest of the official word as soon as the bombshells french tips type it to us.

Glenn Danzig, at the forefront of the hardcore/dark metal movement for more
than 25 years, announces that the 2005 "Blackest of the Black" tour will
kick off in San Diego at the end of September and end on the west coast on
Halloween. For the sophomore year of this Fall traveling festival, Danzig
has assembled a line-up of the crème de la crème of the hardcore/dark/black
metal bands - Chimaira, Behemoth, Himsa, Mortiis, and The Agony
Scene. Danzig will headline.
Danzig's performance on all dates of the "Blackest of the Black" tour will
feature former Misfits' guitarist Doyle Von Frankenstein for a special
30-minute set of Misfits classics. Doyle joined Danzig on a handful of tour
dates last winter (New York, Philadelphia, Boston) for "the closest thing to
a Misfits reunion you're going to see."
"'The Blackest of the Black' tour is for extreme bands that sell out venues
across the country, that sell records, but don't get radio play or get on
MTV," said Danzig. "It's anti the corporate crap nu-rap-metal that gets
shoved down fans' throats at other concerts." The "Blackest of the Black"
festival was organized by Danzig and debuted in the Summer of 2003 with
Danzig, Superjoint Ritual, Opeth, Nile, Lacuna Coil and Behemoth on the
bill. "I'd like to see this being an on-going event," Danzig added.
In addition to organizing and headlining the "Blackest of the Black" tour,
Glenn Danzig will see the release of the DVD "Il Demonio Nera" (evilive) on
July 12. "Il Demonio Nera" is a collection of videos, video outtakes,
alternative versions and previously unreleased music videos from the band's
"Danzig 4" and "Danzig 5" CDs. His new CD, "Black Aria II," the follow up
to 1993's "Black Aria," has been completed and will be released later this
year, and Glenn is in the process of shooting his first feature film,
"Gerouge," which he has written and will direct. "Gerouge" is based on one
of the comic book titles distributed by his Verotik publishing company, and
concerns Turn of the Century New Orleans Voodoo.
Glenn Danzig has received many titles, from the Godfather of dark metal, to
a punk pioneer, to a man of integrity, but most agree that over his 25-year
career, his intense musical and lyrical statements have left a permanent
mark on rock music. He is a gifted songwriter, and his songs have been
covered by such diverse artists as Johnny Cash, Metallica, Guns N' Roses,
Roy Orison and Evan Dando, just to name a few. Danzig's music is dark,
gothic, and haunting, and continues to influence generation after generation
of musicians and music fans worldwide.
Confirmed dates for the "Blackest of the Black" will be announced shortly.

(CHATSWORTH, CA) The Randall family name is synonymous with high-quality adult photography and videography. For years AVN Hall of Famer Suze Randall has shot anyone who is anyone in the jizz biz. When her 26 year old daughter Holly entered the business, she had some serious expectations to live up to.
The second-generation photographer is off to an excellent start, quickly becoming a “Cover Girl” in her own right. Already this year Holly shot Penthouse Pet of Year Runner-Up Natalia Cruze, including the stunning shot of the model turned porn star on the cover of the February 2005 issue. Her work has also graced the covers of such men's magazines as High Society and Club. She also shared a Best Director nomination with her mother for their stunning project "Dark Side."
Though an accomplished director and photographer in her own right, Holly steps into the spotlight in a big way with the June issue of AVN magazine. While her mom is famous for shooting movies like "Centerfolds", it is the cover shot that has Holly getting some richly deserved recognition.
The AVN Cover focuses on Fresh new talent in the business and features Austyn Moore, Wicked Contract Girl Keri Sable and GiGi. Holly is fresh new talent in her own right and her highly-stylized photography combined superbly with the three young starlets. It is fitting that a cover story on fresh talent would be shot by one of the industry's rising stars.
Holly certainly has big footsteps to follow in, but she has the talent and drive to live up to the family name.

According to RollingStone.com, former STATIC-X guitarist Tripp Eisen — born Tod Rex Salvador — was arraigned last Friday (June 24) and will spend his fortieth birthday today at the Intake Release Center for Men in Santa Ana, California, where he is being held without bail. He was arrested in Orange County on February 10 on charges of committing a "lewd act on a child," and released after posting $100,000 bail. Two weeks later, he was arrested again after a New Jersey woman called authorities claiming that her fourteen-year-old daughter had sex with Eisen, who was posing as his own impersonator. For that incident, he is facing charges of kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated sexual assault and use of a motor vehicle for criminal purposes. His next court date is September 19.

George Romero's latest zombie opus, Land of the Dead, which screamed into fifth place with $10.2 million. The modestly budgeted R-rated horror flick, featuring Dennis Hopper and a bunch of ticked off flesh-eating undead, opened in fewer sites and had a better per-theater average than Herbie--$4,545 average at just 2,249 locations.
Despite the latest Caped Crusader still pulling strong numbers and the arrival of the three major new films, the top 12 movies grossed $117.6 million, down 15 percent from the same time last year, when Fahrenheit 9/11 heated up the megaplex. It was the 18th straight down weekend, passing the dubious record set in 1985 as the longest slump since trackers began keeping detailed tabs on the minutiae of weekend grosses.
Here is a rundown of the top 10 films based on figures compiled by Exhibitor Relations:
1. Batman Begins, $27.6 million
2. Bewitched, $20.1 million
3. Mr. & Mrs. Smith, $16.8 million
4. Herbie: Fully Loaded, $12.7 million
5. George A. Romero's Land of the Dead, $10.2 million
6. Madagascar, $7.4 million
7. Star Wars: Episode III--Revenge of the Sith, $6.1 million
8. The Longest Yard, $5.5 million
9. The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl in 3-D, $3.5 million
10. Cinderella Man, $3.4 million

While speaking about "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" in the Bahamas, Johnny Depp talked to Blackfilm about working on "Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3".
Question: Are you shooting the films back to back?
Johnny Depp: As much as we can, we are doing two, and every now and then, you may have to slot something in from "Pirates 3", but the majority of what we have done so far have been 2 and then we will start moving into 3 after the hiatus. It's been great fun so far... In "Pirates 2 & 3", you will get to see a couple of new layers to Captain Jack. You will get to see him in new situations; situations that he is unable to talk his way out of. There's a lot of fun stuff.
Question: Why did you choose to revisit the role of Captain Jack?
Johnny Depp: For me, there was only reason and one reason only, it was Captain Jack. It was selfishly to have the opportunity to play Captain Jack again. Some people can look at it and say, "Depp sold out." I don't believe that I have. It certainly wasn't my attention to sell out but I wanted to play again because I think he's so much fun to play and I think there is so much more to explore with that character that I would keep going. If they wanted me to do "Pirate 7", why not?
Question: Will Keith Richards be in the film?
Johnny Depp: It's looking very good. I've talk to Keith about it and he's been super sweet and keen to do it and it's looking very good. We are just hoping that we can work out the dates with the Stones tour and everything but if that happens, you talk about a dream come true. Get to be a pirate with Keith Richards? Does it get better than that?

From Ron Marks ex-Celctic Frost guitarist and founder of Subsonic:
I'm proud to announce that, my life-long friend and former Prong drummer, Dan Laudo has agreed to be the tour drummer of Subsonic. Having appeared as a guest artist in the Dream American video, it's a natural evolution that Dan's talents and professionalism become part of this project's future in an official capacity. Quite a few fans have expressed interest regarding tour dates. The rules of the road have taught me that jumping blindly onto a tour can yield some pretty dismal results. This last year has been devoted to securing worldwide distribution, completing videos and various promotional materials for No Such Soul. Having done so, we're now ready to pursue several immediate goals, one of which being a professional touring situation.

NEW YORK CITY – (June 20, 2005) Adult mega star Jenna Jameson has joined Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Mel Gibson, Madonna, Tom Cruise and a handful of others selected by Forbes magazine in its “Celebrity 100” list this week.
Under the headline “The (Porn) Player,” Forbes says in an accompanying 1,666-word article by writer Matthew Miller (www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2005/0704/124.html): “Jenna Jameson made millions having sex on-camera. Now she aims to make millions more--without ever again having to deliver so much as an on-screen kiss.”
The story notes, “Since 1993 the onetime blonde (now brunette) bombshell has starred in 50-odd adult movies, selling millions of copies worldwide. Today thousands of members pay $35 a month for access to her Web site, www.ClubJenna.com, where they can linger over nude pictures of her, download her racy movies and read her lurid diary. Her fans can rent her digital moan as the ringer on their cell phones and buy Jenna sex toys, action figures--and even a piece of herself, molded in soft plastic, anatomically accurate and priced to move at $200.”
Miller writes that Jenna “has transcended the sex trade to become a bona fide celebrity, hounded by the tabloids and fervid fans. Her memoir, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, spent six weeks on the New York Times bestseller list last year. She has appeared 30 times on Howard Stern's radio show, most recently to disclaim a rumor that she was sleeping with Britney Spears, and had a small role in his 1997 film, Private Parts. She shows up on such TV talk shows as The O'Reilly Factor. The A&E network is looking at the just-completed pilot for her hoped-for reality series, and she wants to do a film on her life story. “
Forbes reports that Jenna’s holding company, ClubJenna, “will hit revenues of $30 million this year, up 30% in a year; the profits may approach half of that. She owns and operates ClubJenna with her husband, Jay Grdina, a producer or director of 900 adult films. ‘This has developed from an individual star into a porn conglomerate," he says. "Her brand has been developed with the reputation of being the best, and now we are capitalizing on that and monetizing the name.’ They hope to move into Jenna-branded strip clubs, cosmetics, an apparel line and bejeweled sex toys.”
Writer Miller charts Jenna’s personal and professional history and activities comprehensively, from her early days as a stripper through the present, and focuses on the launch and development of ClubJenna, Inc. It concludes: “So does Jameson ever get numb to sex? ‘No, I love it,’ she says. ‘It's a beautiful thing. Maybe I'm just an insanely sexual person, but to see a woman's sexuality come to life on film--that's art.’ And, if you are Jenna Jameson, it's also money, lots of it.”

DENVER — The Free Speech Coalition entered into an agreement Thursday with the Justice Department to delay enforcement of re-issued federal record-keeping and labeling requirements for FSC members.
U.S. District Court Judge Walker D. Miller signed the order after the FSC and Justice Department officials struck an 11th hour deal Wednesday afternoon.
A U.S. Attorneys Office source told XBiz that the parties will hold a preliminary injunction hearing on Aug. 8.
Under the deal with the Justice Department, authorities won’t conduct any inspections or pursue any claims to FSC members, but the government reserves the right to inspect and prosecute anyone who is not a plaintiff or FSC member.
According to the stipulation, the Justice Department will choose a special master who will then check the entity’s name against a sealed and confidential FSC membership list. The special master will be appointed by the court, with the consent of the parties, and will be under a specific obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the FSC membership list.
A master list of members will be submitted to the special master on Wednesday, June 29, and will include all FSC members as of 2 p.m. (PST) on Saturday.
FSC spokesman Tom Hymes told XBiz that he has "mixed feelings” about the deal, but added that at no time will government regulators have direct access to the FSC membership list, which will remain under seal.
The new regulations, still intact, require producers to keep detailed information to verify the identity and age of their performers, including date of birth, legal name and a copy of a photo identification card. They apply to adult material dating to July 3, 1995. Violators face up to five years in prison for a first offense and 10 years for subsequent violations.
News of the agreement is a big coup for the Free Speech Coalition after it appealed enforcement of new rules relative to 2257.
The FSC lawsuit by attorneys representing three law firms — Denver-based Schwartz & Goldberg’ Sirkin, Pinales & Schwartz of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Buffalo, N.Y.-based law firm Lipsitz, Green, Fahringer, Roll, Salisbury & Cambria — contained more than 20 claims.
In opposition to the FSC’s motion, government regulators said the adult industry trade group could not establish “imminent threat of irreparable harm.”
“[The] plaintiffs do not seek merely to enjoin certain new aspects of the regulations that they assert harm them. Instead, using the pending regulations as an entering wedge, plaintiffs ask this court to enjoin enforcement of the entire statutory and regulatory framework, which has been in place for well over a decade."
Justice attorneys pointed to one of the plaintiffs, Dave Connors, also known as Dave Cummings.
“[Connors] is an Internet pornography publisher who is capable of publishing tens of thousands of pornographic photographs on more than 600 websites, but who somehow lacks the ‘computer programming ability’ to store age-verification records electronically, or to hire someone to help him do so,” Justice attorneys wrote.
Justice attorneys also said that another plaintiff “is a pornography wholesaler who claims that the labeling requirements are excessively burdensome, even though he has been in business since 1986 and has been subject to the statute’s and regulations’ labeling requirements for more than a decade.”
“The only other assertions of harm come from a representative of the Free Speech Coalition describing purported burdens to unnamed businesses without identifying the harm, if any, that would occur in the limited period prior to a preliminary injunction hearing or a full hearing on the merits,” government regulators wrote.
In its argument, the FSC said that the new expanded rules are too strict, ignore the Constitution and violate the privacy of people depicted in the photos.
“[2257] vitiates the protections of the First Amendment by conditioning the creation and dissemination of expressive works containing visual depictions of adult performers engaged in actual sexually explicit conduct on a producer’s compliance with the record-keeping and labeling obligations of the statute, thereby burdening constitutionally protected speech with a presumption of unlawfulness that may be overcome only by the producer’s production of the dossiers and label mandated by law,” FSC counsel wrote.

SOURCE: SETI Institute
By: Douglas Vakoch
SPACE.com
With the latest discovery of a "Super-Earth" around a dim, red star 15 light years from Earth, SETI scientists have been pondering the implications for their search for intelligence on other worlds. "This planet answers an ancient question," said Geoffrey Marcy, professor of astronomy at the University of California, Berkeley, and leader of the team that discovered the planet, which is seven to eight times the mass of Earth. "Over 2,000 years ago, the Greek philosophers Aristotle and Epicurus argued about whether there were other Earth-like planets. Now, for the first time, we have evidence for a rocky planet around a normal star." Team member Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution of Washington emphasized the similarity between this most recently detected planet, located around an M star called Gliese 876, and our own world. "This is the smallest extrasolar planet yet detected and the first of a new class of rocky terrestrial planets," he explained. "It's like Earth's bigger cousin."
A Second Chance
For astronomers pondering the possibility of life outside our solar system, the discovery is especially promising due to the sheer number of M stars in our galaxy. "The overwhelming majority of stars are M dwarfs--hundreds of billions in our galaxy alone. This suggests that there could be enormous numbers of planetary habitats capable of sustaining life," said Seth Shostak, Senior Astronomer at the SETI Institute.
But the mere existence of rocky planets isn't enough to ensure the evolution of life. One critical requirement, according to Shostak, is having enough time for life to get underway and then develop into something interesting. "Unlike Sun-like stars, which burn for 10 billion years and then die, M dwarfs live much longer -- as long as 100 billion years," he noted. "So if such stellar runts can occasionally spawn life, the majority of that life will be far older than the biology of our own planet. The most ancient, and potentially most interesting life might be found in the neighborhoods of M stars."
Long-lived planets may be especially important for the evolution of life, given the devastating effects of periodic asteroid and meteor impacts. For example, many scientists believe that the massive asteroid that hit Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula 65 million years ago was responsible for the wholesale extinction of dinosaurs. That catastrophe opened the way for the proliferation of mammals on Earth, eventually resulting in humankind. But on other worlds, such chance events might have obliterated an even greater variety of complex life, perhaps effectively stopping the evolution of intelligence—at least on planets with only modest lifetimes.
Given the longevity of M stars, however, complex life on worlds circling such stars might get a second chance. "If evolution happens at a very slow pace, or if many times evolution gets started and gets truncated, because of some extinction events," explained Jill Tarter, Director of SETI Research at the SETI Institute, "planets around M stars may get more than one chance, and they may be able to accommodate a slower evolutionary mode and still end up with telescope builders."

Porn Valley- Xbiz is reporting that there's a deal in the works between the Department of Justice and the Free Speech Coalition. According to the story, FSC Jeffrey Douglas could not reveal details but that there would be "big news and good news" at 1:30 this afternoon.
FSC filed a TRO against the Department of Justice, June 16, however the DOJ has argued that the FSC's attorneys had failed in their motion to satisfy the prerequisites for the extraordinary relief and failed to show a threat of imminent hardship in the absence of a restraining order. And get this, the DOJ argued that a restraining order would increase the likelihood of child porn.

DISTURBED's brand-new single, "Guarded", has been posted online at MySpace.com.
"Guarded" is the first single off the group's upcoming third album, "Ten Thousand Fists", tentatively due September 20 via Warner Bros. "Guarded" was released to U.S. rock and metal stations this week, and will also be included on a sampler distributed at this summer's Ozzfest, according to Billboard.com. The band's fully promoted first single, "Stricken", will hit radio at the end of July. The title track will be featured in the Electronic Arts football video game "Madden 2006".
As far as where the band stands among its contemporaries, vocalist David Draiman told Billboard.com, "I don't even know that we necessarily belong within 'metal' anymore. Any metal that we identify ourselves with is old-school. Today's metal is very different. It's the second stage of Ozzfest, and it's a place we no longer fit.
"LAMB OF GOD, ATREYU, SHADOWS FALL and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are very talented, and there's a lot of talent and rhythmic quality to what a lot of these vocalists are doing, and a lot of creativity and lyricism going on," he continued. "But to me, songs in general need to have powerful, compelling, engaging melodies, and not just a rhythmic, aggressive, animal-like vocal, which believe me, I drop into from time to time. You don't see bands like JUDAS PRIEST or IRON MAIDEN, or even PANTERA, nowadays.
DISTURBED will spend much of the rest of this year and next on the road. The group will begin a six-week tour the first week of August and in November, will headline the Jagermeister tour, which will be limited to House of Blues venues, with multiple nights at each stop. Following that, DISTURBED will top the bill on the third Music As a Weapon tour.

Scooper 'trev' wrote in with this bit on possible Batman Begins sequels:
[Director] Chris Nolan talked to our paper, The Lacenby News, and mentioned the Batman sequels.
He said he'll be around for another - if everyone else is - but says he probably won't be around the day they bring Robin into proceedings.
If given the opportunity to cast Robin now - which he says neither studio or him wanted - he said he'd go 'young' and mentioned Frankie Muniz as a potential. "If he doesn't age too quickly...you never know I guess", he said
"This is a young Batman, so Robin's a few films....not for a few pictures anyway. Dick Grayson's still in a crib somewhere. I seriously doubt I will even be involved when Robin's in the franchise" says Nolan.
And from www.darkhorizons.com
Actress Katie Holmes has been rumoured to have been dropped from a "Batman Begins" sequel according to sources for Page Six. Movie bosses have been thrilled with the response to "Batman Begins", but Holmes wont reprise her role as district attorney Rachel Dawes reportedly because Warner Bros. is angry her engagement to Tom Cruise has stolen media attention away from the movie.
"Everyone is in agreement that the movie's strength is with Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. [Holmes] won't be in the sequel ... the next romantic interest will be a much stronger actress. Warner is happy that people are now focusing on who'll be playing the Joker rather than Katie and Tom" says a source for the paper. Even amongst its swath of positive reviews, many cited Holmes performance as the one flaw amongst otherwise unanimously acclaimed performances.

LOS ANGELES – With the amended 2257 regulations going into effect June 23, adult companies and stars that maintain Internet presences are putting the finishing touches on making their sites compliant or taking them down until they can.
Flower Tucci, a featured performer on Showtime’s “Family Business,” had a members-only Yahoo Group that was taken down by the company recently. “I had graphic images on the site,” she told XBiz, “but of course there was no child pornography, which I think Yahoo had been sued for, so they were scared about any adult personalities who had a group.” Tucci said she lost the contact data of more than 4,000 members when the group was removed.
She has now disabled member access to both FlowerTucci.com and FlowerTucci.net while she makes the sites compliant. “I’ve always been very careful,” she said, “but now I need to put my sites on hold.”
Adult performer Kami Andrews keeps contact with her fans via a free site, Kamiland.com. The past few weeks have been difficult, she said, as she rooted through her site looking for any non-compliant content.
“I'm not all compliant yet,” Andrews said. “I have [identification] for all my set reports but I need to go back and [check] my journal.” Andrews posts regular public nudity segments. “My site is all me, so that's pretty easy,” she said.
The staff of Long Island, N.Y.-based adult shopping portal Mallcom.com has had what Public Relations Director Steve Javors called “a painstakingly difficult time” getting things in order. Mallcom hosts customized adult stores for its clients, selling other companies’ videos, toys and clothing.
“It seemed like a lot of companies were ill-equipped to deal with the new regulations,” Javors said. “There were many different interpretations of the law and who exactly will be protected by it.”
Javors, like others interviewed for this article, hopes for injunctive relief of the stricter regulations but expects the worst. “We have most definitely erred on the side of keeping all our bases covered,” he said. Still, he added that “hoping for the best is not possible under this administration.”
Joanna Angel of BurningAngel.com runs her alt-porn site out of Brooklyn, N.Y. She had previously run into content trouble when her company’s graphically-violent porn “Re-Penetrator” was refused hosting by BA’s server company. Now she is faced with “tracking down models who might have done one shoot three years ago” to get valid and updated identification.
“It’s been a lot of work,” she said, “but all our models like us. And we’ve got a big new filing cabinet.”

According to the Department of Justice, it's time to update the federal law with the internet in mind. The new regulations "merely" improve record-keeping rules, federal lawyers wrote in a defense of their proposal.
The adult industry isn't so sanguine. The government "is passing these burdensome regulations to try to cause people to shut down or move out of the United States," Walters said.
Another adult industry attorney, Eric Bernstein, said he's advising his clients to get their records in order and prepare for the worst. "Everybody needs to assume that they're going to get a knock on the door," he said. "They can't say, 'Well, there are a million adult sites and only 20 investigators, what are the chances I'll get visited?' If they do that, they do so at a very significant risk."
The countless porn sites that steal content from others will be in jeopardy as well, potentially to a much greater extent than they face on the copyright-violation front, Bernstein said. He predicts that the number of free porn sites, which often rely on swiped photos and videos, will drop.
What else will happen if the new enforcement guidelines survive legal challenges? Attorneys and industry insiders expect a major shakeout. "There are going to be a lot of people who go out of business, and a lot of people who fill the gap and go into business," Bernstein said. "You'll see fewer and fewer people buying content from others unless they literally get the records. You'll see new production and new content coming out of this."
In addition, he said, "vintage" porn -- produced before July 3, 1995 -- may become more popular because the new enforcement regulations don't require age records for older content.
The new regulations raise other issues, too. Some adult performers are afraid their personal information -- including their real names and addresses -- will land in the hands of countless webmasters who now need to keep age records for every image on their sites. On the other hand, performers should expect this sort of thing, said William Margold, an industry activist and former porn actor. "When your privates become public, you lose all your privacy," he said.
For now, porn site owners are hoping for a legal victory. That may seem to be a long shot considering the U.S. government's hard-right turn in recent years, but the industry is crossing its fingers.
In the end, said Margold, American citizens will be the ultimate arbiters of their rights to access porn: "Until the public admits it watches this and allows itself to be counted, it deserves to have the stuff taken away."

AVN introduces an important website for the adult industry, designed to serve as a resource for producers, manufacturers, webmasters and everyone else who has to deal with the Federal record-keeping and labeling regulations, 18 U.S.C. §2257.
It will be of special importance to advertisers who must comply with AVN's new advertising standards.
Documents to be found on this site are the new AVN advertising standard and advertising standards checklists. There is also a letter to producers and manufacturers concerning submissions of images and box covers used for editorial content for AVN and AVN Online explaining the revised standards.
Make sure to read the text of the lawsuit challenging the regulations, Free Speech Coalition et al v. Gonzales, filed in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
There are headlines above each section and the stories posted will continue to grow and be revised as this complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief will play out in the District Court of Colorado before the date of June 23, 2005, when the new regulations will otherwise become law.

Attention, purveyors of All Things Danzig: Il Demonio Nera (The Black
Demon), a brand-new DVD collection of videos, video outtakes, alternative
versions and previously unreleased material from DANZIG¹s Danzig 4 (2000)
and Danzig 5 (2002) projects, will be in-stores on Tuesday, July 12.
Personally combing through the Danzig vaults, Glenn Danzig chose the tracks
for the Il Demonio Nera DVD which offer a variety of versions of Danzig
classics such as I Don¹t Mind The Pain, Serpentia, Cantspeak and
Until You Call on the Dark. Danzig¹s choice of directors for these videos

Call on the Dark, went on to direct Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams video
and Iron Maiden Rock in Rio concert full-length; and the
never-before-released video for Serpentia from Danzig 5, was directed by
E. Elias Merhige who helmed the feature film Shadow of the Vampire starring
John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe.
Il Demonio Nera is just the latest project from Glenn Danzig, arguably one
of the most versatile talents to emerge from hardcore¹s first wave. His
most current Danzig album, Circle of Snakes, was released last fall; his
Black Aria 2 CD will be released later this year, and he is getting ready
to direct Gerouge, his first feature film for Rainstrom Productions.
Il Demonio Nera will be Danzig¹s second DVD collection of vintage videos
Danzig Archive De La Morte, which features videos from Danzig 3 and
Thralldemonsweatlive was released in 2003.
A complete track listing and details for Il Demonio Nera is as follows:
1. Until You Call on the Dark MTV Version (Danzig 4)

Chicago's glam rock gods now have a video available to view on their site at www.iloverich.net
"Lets Get It On Tonight" is the lead single from third 3rd release titled "Year Of The rich" which is available worldwide through Sonicwave International. There is also an online merch store for their sexy good so that you can all get a piece of their action.
"The Year Of The Rich", is the much anticipated follow up to 2001's "The Greatest Rock N Roll Album Of All Time" which followed the bands 1996's live debut "Live, Wet, Drippin' With Sweat", a 12-song collection supposedly recorded live in Cambodia and rumored to be the biggest selling cassette in that countries history
Though their credentials include having gone through more guitarist than KISS has and as Spinal Tap has drummers, and recorded "The Greatest Rock N Roll Album Of All Time", the true legacy of Rich is now about to begin with the release of "The Year Of The Rich", on Sonic Wave International. No it's not a story of the Dubya Bush era but more of a testament to the vocalist and self-proclaimed "Worlds Greatest Lover" that the band is named for.
Armed with new song titles such as. “If Loving Me is Wrong” (You Don't Wanna' be Right") and "Make Out City", "The Year Of The Rich" is poised to be the biggest return to glam rock since The Darkness, only ILR does it better, has done it longer and makes it a lot more fun than the European platinum selling band.

BEVERLY HILLS: VCA Pictures is on a quest to shake up the XXX status quo with sexy
and youthful—not to mention controversial—new movies. So please meet VCA’s
newest director and performer, punk porn superstar Joanna Angel!
Joanna is currently at BurningAngel HQ in New York City preparing her debut VCA
feature, code named JOANNA’S ANGELS.
The difference between the angels who belong to "Charlie" and the ones who
surround Joanna, is that her trio of crime fighting girls have shloads of punk
attitude. These sluts will kick your ass AND fuck your brains out!
Watch Joanna’s Angels dodge spewing streams of “poisonous ejaculation” in this
five scene featurette with tons of rowdy punk sex interspersed between the wild
action sequences.
“It's gonna be really hot, but totally silly and campy at the same time. I want
Joanna's Angels to make people laugh and get aroused,” confesses Joanna. “I'd
really like females to purchase my movie and get turned on. Men can jerk off to
anything—women are more selective when it comes to their masturbation material.
So if women orgasm to my movie, I'll feel like I succeeded.”
Joanna and her Burning Angel operatives are deep into JOANNA’S ANGELS pre-
production. Joanna and her cast will be filming June 26, 27, and 28th in NYC.
“Making porn in a city where its damn near impossible to make porn certainly builds
character,” Joanna admits. “Sometimes I wanna take the easy way out and film in
L.A. where everything is spacious and there is a never-ending pool of talent ready to
shoot at any moment… but then it just wouldn't be BurningAngel anymore. I’m
gonna keep shooting in NYC until I’m blacklisted from every rooftop in all five
boroughs.”
Joanna Angel is the founder and owner of BurningAngel.com and has been referred
to as "The Madame of Punk Rock Porn.” Leading a smutty life both on and off
camera, Joanna recruits hot talent for her popular Web site, in some cases hopping
in bed with the pierced, tattooed beauties before deciding to photograph them.
Joanna’s also becoming a sought-after XXX performer. Recently she was in Los
Angeles for an intense deep-dicking from alt-porn stud James Deen for
underground director Eon McKai’s upcoming VCA release, KILL GIRL KILL #3.
Joanna also recently shot for her “longtime porn star crush,” Jules Jordan.
Eon McKai is the best. He introduced me to the people at VCA and played a big part
in getting JOANNA’S ANGELS made,” states Ms. Angel. “BURNINGANGEL.COM: THE
MOVIE was my first movie ever—a real learning experience. I needed time to find
my voice before I could even think about making a movie for someone else. Now
I’m ready to blow shit up.”
JOANNA’S ANGELS streets in September 2005. VCA Pictures. Don’t dare look away.

The changes keep coming for the satellite-radio-bound Howard Stern.
The talk host has ended his TV deal with E! Entertainment Television after 11 years, and more than 2,000 episodes, the network announced Tuesday. (E! Online is a division of E! Networks.)
The final new episode of The Howard Stern Show will air on E! on July 8. Starting July 11, the Stern family will be seen in rerun form in the show's usual late-night time slots, Monday-Saturday.
In a statement, E! Networks president and CEO Ted Harbert implied that Stern's upcoming jump to Sirius Satellite Radio was one reason behind the parting of ways.
"As The Howard Stern Show evolves into a premium service, it is time for our late-night programming to evolve as well," Harbert said.
Harbert praised Stern as "one of the most influential and successful brands in the history of broadcasting, and the value of his contributions to E! Entertainment Television is incalculable."
Stern, 51, will move his envelope-pushing morning radio show to Sirius' transponder, where his old foes at the Federal Communications Commission have no sway, beginning in January. He announced the five-year, $500 million deal last October.
On Tuesday's radio show, according to the fan site, MarksFriggin.com, Stern said he would reveal his future TV plans in a week or two. Per the Hollywood trades, Spike TV was floated as a possible new cable home.

Reuters is reporting that singer Billy Corgan said on Tuesday (June 21) he plans to revive the SMASHING PUMPKINS, his Grammy-winning band which broke up in 2000 after more than a decade of blending alternative rock with the avant-garde.
In full-page advertisements in Chicago newspapers, the bald-headed Corgan said, "I want my band back, and my songs, and my dreams."
He did not say which if any of the band's former members would be involved in the revived group, which broke through with albums such as "Gish" and "Siamese Dream".
The PUMPKINS' top selling album was "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" which came out in 1995, but as the 1990s progressed their work became increasingly obscure as tensions arose in the group.

Box Office Mojo talked to Warner Bros.' Dan Fellman who says that a Batman Begins sequel is now very likely to happen:
"I think people love the character, and it's been eight years since the franchise unfortunately took a negative turn [with Batman and Robin]," Warner Bros.' head of distribution Dan Fellman told Box Office Mojo. "It took the vision of a filmmaker like Christopher Nolan to bring it back, with a great script and cast. We're well positioned moving forward with the summer. We're going to have a first week of $85 million, and [Batman and Robin] had $59 million. That's enough to bring Batman back for a sequel."
ComingSoon.net reports that the $150 million-budgeted Batman Begins has collected $114.6 million worldwide in five days:
Warner Bros. Pictures' Batman Begins topped the weekend box office with $48.7 million. The Christopher Nolan-directed comic book adaptation has pulled in $72.9 million since opening on Wednesday. Budgeted at $150 million, the film also collected $41.7 million from 73 international markets, for a worldwide total of $114.6 million. The five-day North American haul was the best start among the five films in the "Batman" franchise. The record of $66 million was held by the third film, 1995's Batman Forever, which starred Val Kilmer. Batman Begins stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Ken Watanabe, Katie Holmes, Cillian Murphy, Tom Wilkinson and Rutger Hauer.

From a reivew posted at www.bloodydisgusting.com "I just want to dwell a little bit in the glorious scene where all of the zombies have made their way across a huge body of water. It has been branded in my mind as one of the creepiest images I've ever experienced on the big screen- thousands of zombies just appearing out of the cold black sea moaning- it's truly an "epic" sequence and the defining moment of the film."
And from www.darkhorizons.com
"Land of the Dead" is the follow up to the classic George Romero 80's film "Day of the Dead" and if all goes well with this new release it will the beginning of a whole new "Dead" series.
The producers and director George Romero told the IESB that a sequel to this new film will made if this film is successful. Considering that "Land of the Dead" cost less than 20 million to produce, DVD sales alone should guarantee a profit to the studio.
In fact, all other projects of the helmer will have to take a backseat in the immediate future if Universal decides for an immediate follow up to "Land of the Dead" including his involvement in Mick Garris' Masters of Horror Anthology that is currently being filmed in Vancouver.
The next film will be a second chapter to the story that we see in Land of the Dead, we will see the surviving characters continue their search for survival in what has become a World of the Dead.

PRONG mainman Tommy Victor has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"So what are the new developments? well since I'm off my duties playing guitar with Glenn Danzig, I'm ready to refocus and continue this project called PRONG! For over two years, Monte Pittman [guitar], Dan Laudo [drums] and myself have been in and out of L.A.'s Downtown rehearsal making attempts at new material for another recording. I can say that out of the approximately ten songs written, maybe three or four are acceptable, therefore Monte and I have regrouped and re-evaluated the process. Mike Longworth [bass] was recently called back in to get involved in the project as well. The conclusion being that we will keep moving along to create songs that are worthwhile an appearance on this next release.
"Shows... Part of the discussed plan has been to get PRONG out on the road playing gigs, getting this deal back on the map. I hope to hook up with a decent agent to mae it possible for appearances in your area. Personally I would love to get over to Europe, maybe hitting areas unvisited previously. This in addition to our favorite haunts like Longview, Texas and Charleston, West Virginia! (Just kidding!) Hopefully we can set things up for this to happen later '05!
"And at last there is a PRONG DVD on the verge of release! 'The Vault' is scheduled for June 23rd opening. As well as featuring footage from recent Euro tours. There is classic footage from the old days. Ask for it at your local store. Find it online as well!
"Thanks so much for your continued interest and support! One can always email me at TPRONG2317@aol.com!"

Rob Zombie recently spoke to Ain't It Cool News about "The Devil's Rejects", the follow up to Zombie's gritty, violent smash horror hit, "House of 1000 Corpses". A couple of excerpts from the interview follow:
Ain't It Cool News: I liked how you felt free to play around with some of the elements of the first film. And you didn't feel the need to present them in exactly the same way. For example, the house. The actual "house of 1000 corpses". It's not even the same type of façade as the one in the first film, is it?
Rob Zombie: "It's a totally different house in a totally different location. The first house in the first film is kind of a cooler looking house. This house is a much more ordinary looking farmhouse, but the location of the other house is terrible for shooting at. There's not enough land around it and I wanted to shoot this big scene with all these police cars coming in. I knew that the other location wouldn't work at all. So that's why I had to find a new place to shoot it."

Next year, Sony Pictures will bring Marvel's Ghost Rider to the big screen. The action-thriller stars Nicolas Cage as a motorcycle stuntman named Johnny Blaze who agrees to let his body become host to a vengeful spirit -- becoming a bike-riding demon in the process -- to secure the safety of his true love, to be played by Eva Mendes. Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil) wrote and is directing the film, which also stars Wes Bentley, Matt Long, Sam Elliott, Peter Fonda and Donal Logue.
Cage talked to ComingSoon.net/SuperheroHype.com about the anticipated comic book adaptation on the Australian set. Looking very trim with short black hair, Cage wore a rather large cowboy hat during the interview and seemed very excited about his current undertaking of Johnny Blaze.
Q: When we talked to you at the National Treasure junket you weren't 100 percent sure about this project, whether it was the script or the filmmakers.
Cage: It was always the script. It was always a matter of trying to get the script to a place that I felt comfortable with.
Q: What element did it gain?
Cage: It was mostly different aspects of the effects that I felt were being diminished in earlier drafts and I thought it could be brought up, enhanced so that the movie would be more fun to watch. I just wanted to make sure that they were preserved.
Q: What do you think about the trends of comic book movies?
Cage: Well, I've always thought that the comic book film would be wonderfully entertaining for audiences, because it taps into the fantasy world more than just straight up violence. And I had no doubt when the first Batman came out, because of the title and the character, that was going to be a sensational-- a very exciting movie to watch, combined with the technology that we have today, that you can take these fantasies that many of us grew up on and really bring them to the big screen. You have marvelous entertainment. Comic books to me are modern mythology, and so it taps into all sorts of psychological and soulful levels for audiences in a positive way, in a fantasy element as opposed to blood and guts, gore fests.
Q: Seems like this is a really CGI heavy movie. How is that working?
Cage: I've always enjoyed working with effects. I like any aspect that's creative, and Kevin Mack, who's directing the visual effects, is a very creative man and a very interesting person to talk to. So, to me, it's just stimulating to be around it, to participate. I want to, after the production is finished shooting here, I want to go to where they're working on the effects and say hello and see what they're doing with all the painting and how they're going to make the fire work, because fire is, you probably know, the most difficult of all the digital effects to pull off. Fire and water, but even more so fire.
Q: How have your worked with Mark on developing the character and what input did you have?
Cage: I was concerned that this wasn't sort of your typical hero. I wanted to approach it from the point of view of someone who is beleaguered by this contract of selling his soul to the devil. So if you were somebody that was experiencing a great deal of pain, like in a dental chair you try to relax by listening to dentist's music or things like that, so I'm trying to play Johnny Blaze more in that direction than the hard drinking and smoking bad ass. I'm playing him more as someone who, he's made this deal and he's trying to avoid confronting it, anything he can do to keep it away from him.
Q: Does the stunt riding play into that?
Cage: Yeah. I think anything like that is a form of escape. Also, the stunt riding keeps him connected to his father, who's passed away. So there's a version of being able to keep that relationship going when he's jumping, because that's what his father taught him.
Q: How familiar were you with the different iterations of the character and what appealed to you about him specifically?
Cage: The main thing that appealed to me about the character was that it was dealing with very complicated spiritual issues. And for a comic book, that to me seemed different than all the others. I have a line in the movie that we worked on in the movie where I say I'm the only one that can walk in both worlds. And Ghost Rider really is that, when you think about it. Spider-Man doesn't go into the supernatural or the spiritual world. Superman doesn't. Batman doesn't. But Ghost Rider really walks this dimension between two different worlds, and to me that is interesting. I find all that fascinating. I've always had an interest in the possibility of ghosts and the possibility of things that are in the unknown that we don't really comprehend or understand. So that made it more exciting for me. The other idea, that you can take a negative and turn it into a positive. How do you take this terrible mistake of making a deal with the devil and how do you take this curse and turn it into something good? Which, to me is unusual for a comic book based movie. It's a pretty deep concept. And I was reading it when I was 10 years old. So that's pretty heavy stuff for kids to be reading.
Q: Ghost Rider can't exist without violence, so where do you see that element in the film?
Cage: Well, he's the devil's bounty hunter. One of his rules is that he will never take a human being's life. But he will go after demons, other demons, and this movie's loaded with what they call The Hidden, which are these elemental demons that Mephistopheles, or Black Heart, Mephistopheles' son, is using, and so the Ghost Rider goes into battle with them more than the people.
Q: How does he battle them?
Cage: He has these wonderful abilities, like hellfire and the chain that he can use and swing, and then he has the penance stare, where you can look at someone and make them review every bad, horrible thing they've ever done to anybody and then feel it and feel the pain of all their mistakes and sins and basically reduce you to a human jellyfish.
Q: How is it riding the Hell Cycle?
Cage: I only rode the chopper, Grace. And also the stunt cycle. It's a Buell. They're both really terrific. The Hell Cycle, only the Ghost Rider rides that. That's the other thing. His bike transforms too, and turns into a demon hell cycle. But yeah, that's not much of a bike to really ride. You have to really know what you're doing on that. I want to add, though, there is a lot of humor in the movie. We've managed to really put a great deal of humor. Just character building humor. There's the relationship between Johnny Blaze and his best friend, Mack, is an interesting dynamic. Just humor about dealing with the irony of his situation.
Q: How did you prepare physically, mentally or perhaps even spiritually before you took this role?
Cage: Well, I'm not kidding. I was in Africa shooting a movie called Lord of War, and we went to this place in the middle of the desert to shoot for about a week, and -- trying to remember what happened exactly, what was the name of the place?-- anyway, I don't remember the exact name. But there weren't a lot of people there. And I was stuck there and I was driving home in a van, there was a cobra in the road. And I said, Let's back up; let's look at it. So we backed it up and the cobra got up like that on its hind, whatever, it doesn't have legs, but tail, and attacked my car. And I was shocked, and I never got that image out of my head. And then shortly after that, I started eating less portions. I stopped imbibing as much, I didn't go out as much, didn't have as many cocktails. And I just kind of worked out a lot more, and got ready for this role. So I think it had something to do with this cobra.
Q: A near death experience?
Cage: Something like that. Or just, he had this look in his eyes like; you got a lot of responsibility don't blow it. I could take you right now, but I'm here to warn you. Get your sh*t together.
Q: Do you remember what your first exposure to comic books was and do you read any today?
Cage: My first experience with comic books was The Incredible Hulk. And I was living in Long Beach, California. I must have been 7 or 8 and I liked the color of it, the imagination of it. I liked the world that I could escape into. And then I started to read plenty of them and look at them. And Ghost Rider, I had the first one. I remember looking at that as well because it was such a marvelous iconic image, this black leather bike rider with a flaming skull for a head. I didn't understand what it was about, but I loved the way it looked. So he was an interesting icon for me. Those are my earliest memories.
Q: How is it working with Peter Fonda?
Cage: It's interesting because when I think of Peter Fonda I think of this 1960s icon. Captain America. But I've been doing this for 25 years, and he's been doing it for 40 years. And it was just odd to me that there's only a 15 year spread, and yet I see him as this 60s icon. And then I thought, wow, but we're not that far apart. It's like, I started to feel thrilled and yeah, thrilled and dated. I felt thrilled and dated.
Q: This might be a semi-personal question. How did it feel to sell your comic book collection?
Cage: Well, I had a bad experience, which, you know; I was-- what's the right thing to say? I was robbed. And they took my best ones. They took Action 1 and Detective 27 and Detective 1. And now today they're worth who knows what. But I thought to myself, because I'm not the kind of person that wants to take comics and leave them in a safe somewhere. I'd rather put them on the wall and really enjoy them and look at them. But after that happened I thought maybe it's better not to own them, just to enjoy them from afar, and I sold them.
Q: That must have been tough to do that.
Cage: You know, it was and it wasn't. I feel like no one really owns anything anyway and it's time for someone else to enjoy them and have them. Now, obviously, whatever I was doing it wasn't good enough because they're missing. So I decided that maybe someone else should have them.
Q: Given how dark the material is, and the fact that you're trying to interpolate some humor into it, how difficult is it to manage those elements?
Cage: That came naturally to me. I think that heavy material is inherently--I know this is going to sound strange--but it can lend itself very easily to humor. Because I think people, when they're in heavy occupations, you look at paramedics or cops, they have the blackest humor. But it's a way of coping with the situation. I guess that's the only way I can answer that. I'm just thinking about what I said before about being thrilled and dated. Yeah, because I was in the 80s. I was doing Valley Girl, and he was doing Captain America in Easy Rider, so I felt we were both somehow symbolic of a time, of a period, of a time capsule.
Q: Are you signed on for sequels?
Cage: That remains to be seen. I'd have to see the movie and see how it comes together.
Q: Can you say something about Next?
Cage: Lee Tamahori is directing, it's based on a Philip K. Dick short story called The Golden Man. I play a man who has the gift of pre-vision. He can see what's going to happen to him very quickly into the future and he's being chased by the FBI so they can put him up on a TV set and help them find bombs and things like that. And he's trying to avoid that from happening to him.
Ghost Rider is currently set for release on August 4, 2006.

In one of the most hilarious posts I've seen on an adult based site last weekend Scott Fayner who pens articles for HUSTLER and regularly contributes to www.lukeford.com has commented on a second AVN show being added for May 2006 in New Orleans. And as I have learned over the past 2 years the show can really test an decadents immune system when it comes to lack of sleep and dehydration.
Scott is a seasoned veteran who among other conquests has an amazing knowledge of Van Halen as well as other rock acts and is married to superstar Taylor Rain.
The following is from www.lukeford.com one of my favorite sites. - AZ
SOMEONE WANTS FAYNER DEAD
Fayner Posts: Anyone familiar with me and my monkey knows the annual AVN convention in Vegas tests my limits in food and sleep depravation, as well as my narcotic intake. Without my serious training I'd be dead.
Now it seems AVN wants me dead, something I gathered from the new AVN convention that they're throwing next May in New Orleans, the Vegas of the East. I'm looking forward to it. Death is a blessing.

Announced at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, Re-Penetrator will finally be released on a special edition DVD on July 1st, complete with the screening cut of the film as well as the unedited director's cut, two commentary tracks, cast and crew interviews and a behind the scenes featurette on this unique production. Re-Penetrator will be distributed online by Burning Angel.com and is available now for pre-order at: RePenetrator.com/buy_repen_dvd.html
About the production: Re-Penetrator (a hilarious horror-porno parody of the classic 80's horror movie "Re-Animator", directed by Doug Sakmann) is the story of a stripper (Joanna Angel), who after being dead for 20 years, is resurrected back to life by a perverted mad scientist, Dr. Hubert Breast (Tommy Pistol). Dr. Breast vaginally injects the long dead, but exquisitely preserved, exotic dancer with special serum so the re-penetrated corpse will return from the VIP room in hell and crave nothing but sex. After he injects her with a gooey green potion the stripper awakens with an insatiable craving for balls, and fucks the mad scientist from the gurney to the grave.
Two days before Halloween 2004, punk rock porn site BurningAngel.com released Re-Penetrator on the web. The film had mixed reviews from the site's subscribers; some were thoroughly disturbed and some were strangely aroused, though no one had any complaints.
After a mere twenty-four hours of having the film on the site, Joanna Angel received word from their billing company that Re-Penetrator had to be removed from the site due to its extreme violence and depictions of blood. Failure to do so would result in the termination of their account, and in turn, the entire Burning Angel website. Several attempts to reason with their billing company later, Burning Angel conceded and took the film off the site. After a few weeks of searching for a new host, it was obvious that no American web server would host the film. Re-Penetrator had been truly banned from the American Internet. Luckily, Burning Angel was able to find a zombie-friendly billing company in the Netherlands and made a new home for the film at RePenetrator.com.
While there were some initial problems getting the film out for public consumption, through public screenings, word of mouth and message boards, Re-Penetrator has amassed a huge cult following. The film has been reviewed by Horror websites as well as porno news sites, and even got a mention in the nationally syndicated advice column "Savage Love" as the film for zombie fetishists!
Hear what some of the critics are saying about Re-Penetrator:
"Re-Penetrator looks to be the Deep Throat of our generation." - Screw Magazine "Joanna Angel and Doug Sakmann have redefined a genre set into motion by creative pornography like 'the Devil in Miss Jones' and 'Porno Holocaust'. It's almost impossible to watch this film and not somehow be amazed by what you see." - Heidi Martinuzzi, Bloody-Disgusting.com "Re-Penetrator is ridiculous in the most profound and profane ways imaginable. It crosses lines you didn't know were drawn." - UnitShifter.com

BOISE, Idaho - A longtime FBI agent who helped arrest infamous outlaw Claude Dallas has been sentenced to a year in prison for possessing child pornography.
William Buie, 64, was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty in March. Buie told authorities that he learned to access child pornography Web sites while attending a seminar on preventing child exploitation in 2000 or 2001.
A former FBI sniper who worked for about 30 years for the agency in Seattle, Salt Lake City and Butte, Mont., Buie helped arrest Dallas in 1982 after the self-proclaimed mountain man spent a year on the run after killing two Idaho Fish and Game agents.
Buie also took part in the 1984 siege on Whidbey Island, Wash., in which Robert Mathews, leader of the violent racist cell called "The Order," was killed following an 18-month wave of armed robberies and assassinations.
Buie must turn himself in on July 20 to begin serving his federal prison term.
Phone messages left at his home and on his cell phone were not returned

WASHINGTON - X-rated wanna-be politician Mary Carey vows she'll be on her best behavior tonight when she attends a GOP fund-raiser that President Bush is headlining.
"I'm going to show Washington that a porn star is more than someone who just flashes her boobs," the bubbly buxom blond told the Daily News.
"In real life, I'm proper, quiet and demure, but nobody sees that," added Carey, who ran for California governor in 2003. "We can show Washington that we're normal people, too."
For more than a week, the White House has dodged the question of whether Carey should be allowed into the fund-raiser sponsored by the Republican National Congressional Committee.
"Those are questions to direct to the event sponsors," said Bush spokesman Scott McClellan.
But an RNCC spokesman has said the committee would take Carey's $2,500 price of admission and spend it to elect more Republicans. Carey's manager, porn-flick mogul Mark Kulkis, got the green light yesterday without a hassle.
"They just gave us the dinner tickets," Kulkis said. "A Secret Service agent even came up and asked for Mary's autograph."
But some Christian evangelicals demanded an explanation.
"I've sent three E-mails to [GOP Chairman] Ken Mehlman saying, 'Hey, give us some kind of explanation here,'" said the Rev. Donald Wildmon of the American Family Association. "I think I'd be more interested in getting votes, rather than raising money."
Carey, meanwhile, plans a fashion show for the press today to show off her gown for the gala, the latter expected to raise $23million for GOP House and Senate candidates.
"I've got to get up early to get my nails done," she said.

(AP - London) Organizers of the London "Live 8" concert said Sunday that the British rock band Pink Floyd would perform with its classic lineup at the July 2 event for the first time in more than two decades.
Bass player Roger Waters, guitarist David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason, and keyboard player Richard Wright have not performed on stage together since 1981.
The group, which achieved major success with their 1973 album Dark Side Of The Moon, will join musical acts including Elton John, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Coldplay at the anti-poverty concert in Hyde Park on July 2.
"Like most people I want to do everything I can to persuade the G-8 leaders to make huge commitments to the relief of poverty and increased aid to the third world," Gilmour said.
"It's crazy that America gives such a paltry percentage of its GNP to the starving nations."
Waters, the group's founder, split with the rest of the band after a falling-out in the 1980s.
"Any squabbles Roger and the band have had in the past are so petty in this context, and if re-forming for this concert will help focus attention then it's going to be worthwhile," Gilmour said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Some years ago, Einstein figured out the theory of relativity. Last night at the Whisky A Go Go, Not the Ramones cracked the equation of a goddamn good time. Science dullards take note, for here are the key ingredients: The music of the Ramones, played by utterly capable men that respect the source. A gaggle of sizzling back-up singers and go-go honeys. Sweet, delicious booze, and a jam-packed audience comprised of the party-inclined denizens of Porn Valley.
The occasion was in celebration of young Kurt Lockwood’s birthday, and featured the man himself on guitar and vocals leading NTR (starring AVN’s mighty Evil Ed in the bass slot, monster skin master and AVN boss Tim Connelly on drums, plus the exceptional Bruce “Part Angus, Part Page” Duff on guitar) through a balls-out, power mind-warp trip through the canon of Ramones classics, not to mention a strong chunk of Lockwood originals.
The evening began with an intro by adult legends Ron Jeremy and Taylor Wane. Jeremy offered up some one liners (“My penis is parking the car right now.” Yes, the rod of Ron is that big, folks), while stacked and stunning Brit-babe Wane dazzled onlookers with her unique body English. The NTR lads took the stage, wasting no time in resurrecting the spirit and energy of the quartet from Queens. “Do You Wanna Dance,” “Sheena Is A Punk Rocker,” (in C, for those keeping score), “Beat On the Brat,” “Judy Is A Punk,” “California Sun,” “Commando,” “I Wanna Be Sedated,” (dedicated to AVN kingpin Paul Fishbein, in attendance and loving it); the hits just kept on coming.
Over the course of the night the band was joined onstage by some XXX celeb talent. Dr. Sharon Mitchell stepped in for the immortal skag ballad “Chinese Rocks,” guitar fiend Frank Meyer strapped on his weapon and jacked the band into another dimension of shitfire Stooge rawk (“I Wanna Be Your Dog,” anyone?), and Evan "The Man Who Gets To Have Sex With Tera Patrick When the Cameras Are Off" Seinfeld dug into a blistering finale of “Blitzkreig Bop.” At that point, Sir Lockwood was working the room a la classic Iggy, in all his shirtless, sweating, Levi-unbuttoning, dick-massaging glory. A little something for the ladies. Why the hell not?
And yes, all of this accompanied by the formidable back-line of vocalists Monica Mayhem and Lockwood main squeeze stunner Samantha Ryan, plus non-stop gyrating go-go talents Charlie Laine, Sita, and Terry. Too bad there were no officials from the Department of Water and Power on hand; they could have harnessed the energy emanating from these delicious dynamos and lit up a city of agonized, porn-loving dwarves who run their air conditioners and DVD players around the clock. It was just that good!
So. There are company picnics, bowling nights, ring tosses, whatever, but — biased as this reporter is — it’s rare that you find a business that can offer up the kind of entertainment as did Not the Ramones. And there were tits.

I love the English tabloids, they're so dirty minded and rudely spoken they sound like... well me most of the time. According to The Sun, Christian Bale wants producers to make two versions of the next Batman movie - so the Caped Crusader can have sex. NOW we know what all that rubber is for.
He told the paper recently: "I do think there is a lot of room for, like, an R-rated Batman. It's a little bit tricky to broach the sex aspect of the story when you want kids to come see this as well. I mean, we still like for a 12-year-old to come see it and enjoy it. I think it would be very interesting, myself, to do two different cuts of it. The (Batman) graphic novel certainly dove into his private life because it's fascinating. He's got to do something sexual at some point. I think it could be an interesting storyline to take somewhere."
This matches with comments he said last weekend in the US that he'd like to see a darker and more R-rated alternate cut of any proposed "Batman Begins" sequels. Gotta say to anyone at Warners if your listening - this is one franchise aching for an 'Unrated Extended Edition' DVD series to complement it (ala "Lord of the Rings").

Hector Duarte Jr. of All Headline News has issued the following report:
Gene Simmons met with an unfavorable reception during filming for a new reality show, featuring the long-tongued KISS bassist teaching classes at a posh English music school, Christ's Hospital.
Located in West Sussex, the school funds bright children from poor backgrounds.
A student-run blog was inundated with negative knocks aimed at the aging rocker. From his hair extensions to his arrogant swagger, no nuance went unmentioned.
The Guardian reports that in one entry, titled "The Barrel is Duly Scraped", the writer emphasizes how the rocker's constantly tired look spoke volumes of his burnt out career and the dark glasses he was donning were used more for hiding the bags under his eyes, rather than as a fashion accessory.
Another entry decried the musician's praises of money and stories of 4,136 sexual conquests as pathetic.
The entry states, "Yes, Gene, we have people like you in Britain too. They are locked away and given a healthy dose of medication."
The program, "Rock Star", finds Simmons as a music teacher, who invades the Christ's Hospital music school, in an attempt to turn classically trained students into rock gods.
In the end, ten students will be chosen as winners who will perform a show as the opening act for rock icons MOTÖRHEAD at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
Next month, the winners will travel to the states to perform with Simmons.
