I'm not sure if this film comes from what is so often referred to "the Golden Age of Porn", but as far as I'm concerned the Ginger, Amber, Stacy Donovan, and Tracey Adams era was the golden age to me. Ginger Lynn: The Movie is a refresher course into when porn was shot on film and intended exude something more sensual and arousing as opposed to some of the over-the-top intensity fueled scenes and gonzo of modern day adult.
Shot in 1988 by Paradise Visuals this is the first of their collection that is will being on DVD including Christy Canyon's first feature, John Holmes last film and movies thought to be forever lost..
Porn version of her story of how she came into adult superstardom. Oh, that's right, there was a time when adult films flirted with the idea of a storyline. Most of them not really any good, but an attempt was something that the producers believed was important at the time. The stars include Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon, John Holmes and Harry Reems. What makes this particular film such a collectors item is it features two lost Traci Lords movies with Traci edited out. The viewer is treated to surviving footage from "Night of Loving Dangerously" and the controversial "Those Young Girls". Basically, the storyline is cut and pasted (edited) from other movies to somehow concoct a timeline of sorts.
Scenes include: Ginger having oral sex on John Holmes; Ginger and Harry Reems; Ginger and a lesbian scene with Christy Canyon and later a three-way with Ginger, Christy and Jamie Gillis. It's definitely a retro trip and as a collector this is a real gem to have on DVD as opposed to old rotting video tape. (in case you didn't know, in time, tape deteriorates).
The extras are really nice which includes Ginger Lynn, ( get Gingers pull no punches opinion of Traci Lords) Christy Canyon, Ron Jeremy, and Bill Margold. And a 30 minute bonus scene with Britany Stryker.
This is the stuff legends are made of and a big round of applause to the folks at Paradise Visuals for getting these rarities together for a string of releases that many of us are looking forward to. (Hair clippers are optional) - Alex Zander

This is the ultimate example of a couple’s film, and receives our highest recommendation as such.
Loaded far exceeds in action and adventure in a way Conquest did for lavish costumes and scenery last decade. However with the DP budget and Nic Andrews at the helm this is once fast and furious fuck flick that’ll be very difficult for any studio to attempt to follow.
LOADED is action-packed, and features an all-star cast of today’s favorites among male and female fans of porno. Jesse Jane and Barrett Blade are the industry’s freshest faces and their energy and talent in out of the sheets is on display and at their peak. For a film which seems almost more suited for the big screen with it’s drag racing, explosions, gun fights and chase scenes it’s almost an added bonus that the viewer actually gets to see hardcore, but we do. The sex is as steamy and action-packed as the storyline. Jesse has never looked better and for a girl who doesn’t ever need to act, she pulls it off surprisingly well. But she has that look about her doesn’t she? The sweet innocent shy girl one moment and the deceitful femme fatale who will rip your nads off the next.
However, as hot as the sex is, it happens to be the storyline and the effects that take Loaded to the next level. And if modern porn has any chance of being accepted outside of the closet by the mainstream, it is movies like this one that will see that happen. I already see Best Picture of 2004 in the future for this production.

You know, when AZ asked my to write these reviews, he told me that because MK isn’t like hardcore XXX mags, I had to avoid using certain phrases such as? Well, I can’t use them. Let’s just say they rhyme with an item you can pickup in your produce section called a Kumquat.
Since I can’t use these phrases it makes describing Explosions a little difficult, since it’s a 2-hour compilation tape that provides over 140 of these? Ah, ah. ?? What would you call it if you made a homeless person do aerobics? Bum squats? With girls ranging in looks from fresh off the bus amateurish to hottie cover girl, Explosions lives up to its name. Some highlights include a series of "swapping" scenes (and I ain't talking about wives) as well as on scene where a toy that looks like it belongs in a Samurai movie gets some action. The DVD is a little short on features with only a menu for access to every 10 scenes and some trailers for other Mayhem DVDs. But if you’re like me and have a short attention span. Explosions offers the quick scenes with just enough “build-up” to the, ahh.. the.. Well after watching this video you have problems with your underwear washing out the DUMB SPOTS? - Jeph Stiph

If you've missed Angelmania 1-4, it's ok you won't have any trouble following along. This movie is hosted by Laura Angel (the poor man's rough & ragged Anelina Jolie look-a-like, who's showing some wear & tear) she appears at the beginning of each scene to bring the couples together, so they can get down to some booty-duty. This isn't a bad movie, but it's a great one either. Nothing really stands out to set this apart from other movies, just your usual unknown European chicks. Hey, at least the didn't have any zits on their bum. The only thing I found interesting was a game of spin the bottle that ends up in an orgy. If you were dateless this would make an all right rental to satisfy your momentary urges.
To sum this up in two: accents and asses.

Nic Andrews directed "Rush" for Digital Playground, equal parts sex and action for Digital Playground. It stars Barrett Blade as Carter, an escaped convict looking to retrieve a million dollars that he was swindled out of by one of his partners, and try to make a clean break towards Mexico. Carter goes on a lam with Sera, a prostitute played by Devon. Other stars include Alexa, Avy Scott, Jezebelle Bond, Mike Horner, Cheyne Collins, Lancaster Merrin, and Omar Montana.
Since this is an action film, there are the standard scenes revolving around cars, and the obligatory chase and crash in the end. There are also two hot scenes involving dirty mechanics, and a lesbian love fest by the pool. There's also a couple of misleading parts, including a car wash that goes nowhere and Sera literally walked out of the sapphic scene mentioned above. Although Carter is an escaped con and he's being hunted down by his old associates and the police, this movie is surprisingly tame in terms of the violence and the shootings are unrealistically clean and bloodless. The scenes involving mechanics are the most intense, and though the first encounter between Carter and Sera in the motel room is arousing, their second performance out in the field is tame at best. The performers in the sapphic scene were half-hearted and it is the tamest encounter in the film by far. - Jozenda

When Metro’s FusXion line had officially been unleashed, and the first two releases from the line - Pat Myne's American Ass and Bridgette Kerkove's Dirrty - have been making quite the impact, having moved 5,000 pieces of each title out the door, followed by fast and furious reorders!
For this viewer it was a new side of adult cinema much more aggressive and relentless than I had ever been exposed to. It was beyond just gonzo, it is flat out FILTHY. And if that ‘s how you like it, or sometimes like it, it’s a fresh change of pace. It’s messy, sweaty, nasty, loud, and as no holds barred as consenting sex should be. The ladies in these features may be young and new faces to the industry, but they are certainly not lacking in experience, and take it harder, deeper and darker than any performers before.
Bridgette Kerkove directs and stars in Dirrty. And my introduction to her showed me why she is now considered the queen of undisputed backdoor sexcapades. There is nothing I believe would offend this woman, in fact I’m afraid of her, she could very well teach an old dog new tricks. But my hats goes off to the absolutely stunning beauty and performance of a brunette named Rio, a natural work of art who is a little more submissive than the other girls on the disc but exudes a spectacular performance nonetheless.
Pat Myne's American Ass boasts industry hotties such as Jessica Darling, Britney Foster, Anna Nova, Elisabeth Delmar, and Brooke Balintyne and as with FusXions Dirrty is about as hardcore as good smut can get. The girls are beyond scorching and the sex is deep and decadent.

All the actresses are Asian or part Asian. 5 & 6 center around an all Asian girl’s school (not sure what thru 4 is about, MK-Magazine didn’t receive them). Of course, being in an all girl school full of hot, young Asians give lots of opportunity for naughty study breaks. Not only do these DVDs feature hot Asian girls, but they are also in schoolgirl outfits (two things we at MK love).
The voice-overs in both episodes get a little old (both episodes are like and the sex scenes are like the girls writing in their diaries and the voice-overs are what they are thinking as they write) and the sex scenes are nothing new and mostly Girl - Girl. All of the loads in Episode 6 are on the stomach (didn’t that go out in the 80’s?). There are some great orgy scenes in Episode 5, including one all Girl - Girl scene. Most of the actresses in both episodes are fairly new comers (no phun intended). Episode 6 best beauty is a very tasty babe named Kitty (who is The one telling the story) but her only scene is Girl – Girl. 6 also features veteran actress Asia Carrera, who looks stunning as ever! If you like nasty and filthy sex, this is the perfect title for you. If your bedroom activity is a little more reserved and subdued you should not even bother reading this review, and please NEVER watch this presentation.
This title was Aurora Snows directorial debut and pre orders were in record numbers from Sin City. Though it came out late last year it would be a sin for me not to expose this deep probing exploration of Aurora’s incredible talent for exploiting the back door of the tunnel of love. In Assploiations she displays her unique vision of explicit anal erotica.
Snow narrates and even plays with a few of the starlets between scenes. An though the Sodom themed opus is excellent in what it has to offer even the most jaded smut guzzler, it is the fifth and final scene of the movie that takes Assploitations to legendary proportions thus making it and instant classic.
So excuse me as I skip directly to the climax.
Snow is capable of expressing a level of intensity and energy in the scene that’s rarely seen in modern day porn, like a sex starved beast it seems impossible to fill her. I lost count on the number of position the duo went through in a long drawn out highly insatiable scene, which is a full throttled indulging of Miss Snow’s gaping assets. The scene is so dark and so depraved that it will do one of two things to the view. 1) Pump up your libido up higher than it has ever been raised or 2) Disgust and repulse you to the point of seeking professional counseling. Snow owns the amazing ability to relax her cavity to a point rarely seen outside of the doctor’s office. Her talent for the art butt love is of nothing short of impressive. Kudos to Aura Snow, for taking it like a hardcore machine of pure pleasure and displaying her vision for the whole world to bask in.

This DVD would fit into the category, which is being called “Gonzo Porn” which is simply porn with no real plot or story, and the sex is very rough and hardcore. This particular DVD features lots of anal action. None of the actresses are big name stars, but it’s no holds barred for these vinyl, pleather and chain clad babes, all with gigantic, fake tits. Don’t expect any romantic scenes here! Just lots of filthy talk, girls being gagged by oral, and girls getting anally bored out like a big block Chevy engine. About 90% of the scenes are anal, and these girls take it like a lifetime inmate who dropped the soap. The moaning is very fake, but who gives a shit! It makes it almost funny. Most of the stuff on this DVD can’t be mentioned here, it’s simply too graphic. Fans of Gonzo & anal will get a kick out of JUGGERNAUTS.

An adult starlet and a former co-star Evan Stone and Stephanie Swift are looking for another big break when their love-hate relationship ignites and burns in front of the camera. Not exactly an original plot, but that’s not the reason for being a fan of Stephanie Swift now is it? Well their break happens to occur with a cable show that they use to review porno movies.
Of the six scenes Stephanie is clearly the best thing about XXX Factor, as the other senses seem uninspiring and run of the mill. But Swift excels in her two scenes, and she’s at her sloppy, slurppy best which picks up the slack where the others are better left for the FF button. No offense but one learns to expect more from Wicked.

Kobe: The Shocking True Story Volume 1

In "Kobe: The Shocking True Story" from director Todd Fligner presents both Kobe Bryant and his teenage accuser's side of the story regarding their encounter in a Colorado hotel room last summer. Although the synopsis accompanying the film reeks of conspiracy theory, Fligner seems to have at least made a half-hearted attempt to appear objective. Although this film is plagued with cheesy background music bordering on theatrics (including solemn monastery sounds during the accuser's interview), it is the bad lighting, hackneyed film school camera angles and a simple lack of understanding of the word entertainment that is the real tragedy in this film.
Although I can't attest to being a fanatical basketball fan, last time I checked Kobe Bryant was not a beyond middle-aged man with bad cornrows, a beer gut, glasses and reeking of smarminess, all adjectives that can be enhanced with euphemisms if actor Julian St. James ever decide to try those personals once again. The accuser, whom the film referred to as Caitlyn, was at least ten years younger than actress Chandler Stacy, and was working in the hotel during the encounter. In Kobe's side of the film, Caitlyn was basically loaned to Bryant by an ugly, out-of-shape man with the light brown version of Howard Stern's hair, played by Fligner himself, perhaps to conserve the budget to rent out the $40 cheap-looking hotel room. Caitlyn hoped that Bryant would help jump-start her acting career, and when she's not jumping on Bryant herself, the fat man is indulging on his love of munchies. After half an hour has painfully passed by, it's Caitlyn's part of the story and during her interview she says that Bryant's bodyguard invited her into Bryant's hotel room and after barely finishing the champagne, the lumpy Bryant decided to skip dinner and lunge at dessert first. The acting is as stiff and artificial as the simulated sex, and for the first 50 minutes I was grateful that the only nudity (breasts and backside) were of the tattooed Stacy, although Fligner decided to punish anyone for watching this godawful film with the last ten minutes of the camera being overwhelmed by St. James' kingdom of cellulite. Regardless of the real world trial proceeding going on right now, I feel justified in saying that the real crimes committed in this film was against acting, background music and interior design. - Jozenda

Wicked Picture Special Collectors Editions: Conquest and Blue Movie
Both of these big budget features from Wicked Pictures and Jenna Jameson early years still hold up now in the new millennium. Both films been remastered and formatted for DVD.
With a budget of over $100,000, Conquest directed by Greg Steel and Brad Armstrong is the epic adult film. Boasting lavish sets, costumes, locations, and believe it or not a story line that actually keeps you interested in the movie Conquest doesn't lack in the hot, erotic sex department either.
The studio even went as far as to lease an actual motion picture Pirate Ship. The actors actually had took fencing classes, the producers hired a fight choreographer, and sense were shot on closed sets off of Malibu Beach this is a piece of adult cinema that forever shall stand alone when its comes to excellence and is no wonder that it is a multiple award winner across the board. This is one move that you want to watch as a couple movie and still enjoy all the hardcore sex of other genres. It is not a day too late for this stand out work of art is finally seeing it’s day on DVD.

In what may be the best production that caters to my personal tastes released this year, Wicked Sex 6 Devinn Unleashed makes Wicked Pictures return to what they do best. Hot and insatiable non-stop screwing. Not only are these girls HOT but they are completely aggressive, taking control of the scenes and having the men satisfy their throbbing libidos.
Maybe Armstrong’s direction has something to do with it, but until the release of this film I have found Wicked productions in 2002 to continuously boast hot girls but as far as the “sex act” I’ve found it less than inspiring.
Not the case with this title in particular. This film consists of 3 groups of six, which indulge in a little fetish, a little ass spanking and a lot of indulging in full fulfillment of passion and desire.
